  1. Boeing. They were almost certain to get chosen, from what I have heard.
  2. I hope that there are lots of ways for terrible accidents to happen that kill everyone. Also, procedural spacecraft.
  3. We call it "dark" matter because it barely interacts with light/the electromagnetic force; however, it still interacts with gravity, and that is how we can do things like map where it is.
  4. Starmade's demo is also the current state of the game. From what I hear, it has more features than Space Engineers at this point; however, it has a small community right now.
  5. The Tripods are coming to take over the planet!
  6. 1438 visits (including Vanamonde), but I'm not sure how.
  7. Or you can use a normal lander to land nearby and then use the Kerbal's RCS pack to get him over if you can slow him down for impact.
  8. That's just the mass required for a black hole to form from a star. Black holes can exist at much lower masses, but afaik there isn't much of a natural reason for them to show up.
  9. I've been everywhere possible except for Jool's lower atmosphere (I've never really gotten around to it). I've also not returned from Tylo or Eve yet.
  10. I'm going to suggest the Ferdi, since it has enough armor that you can be close to the front. While it can't go fast, it can go as fast or faster than most heavies, so you shouldn't have much to worry about with that.
  11. My C: drive is about 8 times larger than my other two drives (and those ones are basically archives), so just use the space on it for everything.
  12. This thread makes me wonder what would happen if a Titan habitat (filled with oxygen-rich air) was impacted by something large - there would be some sparks and heat, which might start a reaction that would use up most of the oxygen while it reacted with the air; at the same time, it would char the habitat.
  13. You can*! Just push a command module with a Kerbal and refuel in it when necessary! *May take a large amount of time.
  14. I started way back around the first few releases (0.9?). At the time, you could either use SRBs or the one liquid engine (with the one size of tank), along with (maybe?) parachutes. It was technically possible to orbit, but there was no timewarp, so it took a while. With no navigation view, you had to put in the numbers to see if you were actually orbiting or not. Also, it was difficult because the atmosphere didn't fade away - iirc, it had one atmosphere of pressure up to 40km and then it was gone.
  15. I'll do it if the other choice if standing underneath the rocket when it blasts off. Anything short of that is probably not a good enough reason to sign up for a mission that has a high chance of ending with explosions.
  16. In the year 2012, TheDarkStar became interested in the secrets of life and death. In the year 2012, TheDarkStar traveled to the human site Bay 12. In the year 2012, TheDarkStar downloaded Dwarf Fortress. It was inevitable. It is terrifying.
  17. *shudders* I watched that once, and once is probably excessive.
  18. At first, I wasn't that impressed with the tornado, and then it became a giant wedge. How strong was it?
  19. 1. Dwarf Fortress 2. KSP 3. WOT 4. Warzone 2100 or Minecraft 5. TF2
  20. If you have one engine, you can always right click on it and modify the max thrust.
  21. Personally, I didn't like it because of how slow it was and how long the "flashing lights" scenes lasted. I had read the book beforehand, so I knew the plot, but there were scenes that dragged on way longer than they should have.
  22. I wish they would release the names of all high-ranking NASA officials who are now helping to work on the game. It's annoying how they keep leaving hints that aren't quite specific enough to tell what they mean for sure.
  23. Of course, electrons don't go around nuclei like planets go around the Sun.
  24. I haven't switched to Steam, but I estimate 2k hours.
