  1. I agree. Also small stations. Doesn't have to be big. >80 parts would more than enough.
  2. I think SQUAD could make a new game instead of KSP 2.0. Once this KSP is finished, of course. I would like to see a crossover between KSP and Elite: Dangerous. You build your own vessels with KSP-like editor and go on an interstellar adventure with multiplayer. And with economy. And lasers. Pew, Pew, Pew!
  3. Woah, I better not visit my probe I landed there in 1.0.2. Probably will boil and explode as soon as it loads.
  4. I agree. Maybe it's not super annoying but an improvement would be welcome.
  5. I agree. There's too much uses for LPM in map view. I always misclick things. Especially the Ap/Pe/AN/DN icons.
  6. I always go for planes first and leave rockets for later, although they are useless in early stock career. I use them to train crew and overall joy-flying. Figuring out early jets/rocket-powered planes is pretty fun IMO. Same. Same. EDIT: I also hate to send Kerbals on interplanetary missions with low-tech. And never send them alone. At least 4 per mission.
  7. I think they mentioned it some time ago and it was half-intentional, or something? They didn't bother adding weight to the vessel because they are small numbers that don't matter that much. Unless you're evacuating Kerbin. Or take a whole ton of Kerbals to colonize the galaxy.
  8. After seeing regex's response I thought I wouldn't reply to this, because there were so many threads of the same topic. But I actually will: KER is all you need. MechJeb takes all the piloting fun from you. Using it you won't learn as fast as without it.
  9. OOOOH! I'm just gonna quote this because of the level of anger I just achieved that doesn't let me read through your other posts. The player falls back into the atmosphere and wastes his imaginary money and time or gets stuck in space and wastes his imaginary money and time. The driver hitches a ride, takes a walk to the nearest station or takes a bike. The real astronaut gets stranded in space and dies from the lack of food/oxygen. I'll just take a slingshot and keep throwing them rocks until they escape the atmosphere and achieve a stable orbit, I guess. And I know you've said "If this was real rocket blah, blah, blah but it isn't so dV readout isn't needed", but seriously... it is needed. Once we get life support (and I really hope we do someday) there won't be a way to get around without knowing all those useful information. If you want to not use them, fine. Don't. But I will.
  10. I know where is the quicksave text showing, but still I would like to have it big and centered.
  11. Yeah, but that's probably because they are completely reworking them and didn't bother wasting time for fixes while they can work on the new system supporting wheels from scratch.
  12. OK, so I didn't mention it in the previous posts and it looked like I didn't even read the OP, but I actually did and totally support his idea. Just forgot to say it.
  13. THEY ARE, DAMMIT! Always wished for wheels that would work like actual wheels and not slippery skids. Hopefully this will change in 1.1. I remember Bobcat mod having excellent wheels plugin, but they came with a full, 6-wheeled piece.
  14. I've caught myself on clicking the save button a few times (just in case it didn't save the first 10 times I clicked it) before exiting the SPH or VAB and I think a simple 'vessel saved!' text would perfectly deal with that. I'm sure I'm not the only one doing it, because I've seen people saying they do the same.
  15. Yes, there is. You just need to place it somewhere around your vessel position, grab it and move wherever you want. You can also focus your target and see how moving the gizmos changes the Periapsis. At least that's how I do it. Grabbin'n'slidin' is the key. Also this should be in Gameplay Questions and Tutorials section.
  16. Eh. I came here to actually find out what makes them move IRL. Was a bit dissapointed. I'm just going to assume it's some servos. Or short range teleporting abilities.
  17. The cave on Tylo was meant to blend in the terrain, but it didn't look very good. There was something about the texture. On the other hand the pyramid on Duna looks pretty good. At least it did last time I visited the place. One corner seemed to be floating above the ground on low detail setting, but otherwise it looked pretty OK.
  18. Cargo ramps would be good and fuel transfer hoses would be more than enough for strapping cargo (if they were solid once connected, of course) IMO.
  19. Seems that Unity 5 is about to bring the change we both desire so much. I like the idea. The smallest, grey wheels would be perfect for that.
  20. This actually got me thinking about Lem's 'Fiasco'. Once the terrain scatter gets solid I would like to get lost in one of those. I like the idea. Some more formations on the planets would be pretty fun to explore and drive around. I would especially like canyons with sharp edges. You drive your rover and then the road suddenly ends! Surprise sky diving! I think that caves are impossible in the game right now. Maybe some day it will change.
  21. I know I'm a bit late to this, but... No Abyssal Lurker on the list? https://www.youtube.com/user/ablu444
  22. If all of them got the full ability to calculate TWR, dV, etc. I would be actually cool with that.
  23. Good luck running unmanned missions.
  24. I seriously hope dV, TWR and other KER stuff won't be based on kerbal skills. That would be beyond ridiculous.
