Recently I try to name my crafts after greek alphabet letters. There are plenty of cool sounding ones. Might also think about naming them after the US army alphabet thingy. "Flying Epsilon Whiskey" sounds pretty awesome imo.

WAT. No, it wasn't. In fact I find it to be pretty new compared to what I used in pre-0.14 times. EDIT: I remeber using C7, NovaPunch ans some other things back in the days. One of them had an RC probe core that still functioned as a normal capsule and had kerbals in it. Someone even created a cannon that could be loaded only once. It was fun.

I remember my first space station when docking came out. It looked like 2 "L" letters connected with a whole lot of other not important things. It also had 2 space fighters and way too many parts.

I think there's been a few of those threads. Steam doesnt die everytime an update comes out. The official site tends to do that a lot. You just need to dig through some more Steam stuff to get to the KSP folder to install the mods. -
I was just about to post the same idea in Suggestion And Development subforum, but I trust there are people in the Squad HQ who consider it already. Though not with gold and platinum. "The Ore" would be enough.

Fully understand that. Never really used any resource mod myself. But I also think there needs to be a step forward. "Alright! We got that base standing there. Should we do some more than just drive around it with the rover? How about placing a refinery nearby, giving the rover a drill and a storage tank to go around, and gather stuff, and visit it from time to time for some extra gas?" I also think it's kind of educational. Kids will play the game, look at resource system and wonder why isn't this a thing IRL already? The resource gathering paired with life support in the future might be interesting.

I actually think the resources will be fun. Finally something to give me more courage to go beyond Duna orbit and explore without being worried about fuel.

I expect it to last two weeks at least. It's a pretty big update. Edit: I have this thing whenever theres a new update going to come out I have a really strong urge to play the game. Then I go back to the forum and there it is! The new update! So If I post anything new from now on, be prepared.

I remember them saying on a Dev Stream (before Squadcast was even a thing) they had problems with memory and some other stuff and that's why they didn't implement more planets than we have now. Quick edit: though I hope that is not a thing anymore -

I like the idea of cost being based on the skill. Maybe we could choose how much we want to spend on a crew member and the more money we add the higher are their skills. Spending money on training future pilots/engineers/scientists. Makes sense to me. And I would like it to actually cost A LOT to have a fully trained Kerbal before even their first flight. EDIT: And I agree with people saying that when crew is on the mission it should get more money. Would be some sort of substitute for life support before we get a proper one. -
So last time I played I had this annoying thing happen: I landed in the water and one of my intakes decided to become a dolphin. It started to jump and wouldn't stop 'til the heat death of the universe. I had some other stuff in sight and once I switched the vessels with [ and ] I couldn't switch back to my main vessel although it was 300 meters away. Maybe a right-click switch to would help. Maybe not. But it also would be a nice thing in space. Wouldnt have to jump between everything and choose just the thing we want to control. Hope this post is clear enough to understand. Things I say tend to be really chaotic.

Today I built aerodynamically stable and kerbalized Ranger in NEAR! Woooo! It has not enough dV to reach Kerbin's orbit and is super hard to land as a VTOL (managed to do it only once). I tried to not clip a much as I could to keep it not cheaty. It's also very hard to steer in atmo but at least it flies!

I would like this actually. Also just another argument for: Its always better to invest in a simulator at your training center than building and crashing another flying bedstead, right? -

I like the idea. Though maybe it should be locked in IVA mode only for the simulation and dont have actual terrain of planets but grids or some low-res terrain without any hills. Basically what IRL sims do. They only generate the stuff that are important for the mission. You won't render the whole planet, buildings and trees If you want to test if something can land on the runway only. How I imagine you would roll out a list of options just like when editing a text file on PC and: "Simulate X (take-off, landing, etc) on planet Y (would simulate gravity and atmo, and show the surface as some sort of grid maybe?) at the speed of Z m/s." -
