I have just released the weapons pack that will be used on the next version of this challenge! Have fun playing with it, the points system to determine the amount of each weapon you can use is still to be set. Aviator Arsenal A WW2 aircraft weapons and utilities collection. Aviator Arsenal is a pack of weapons created by me and @VintageXP. It is based on BahamutoD's Armory modules and contains the most famous World War 2 aircraft weaponry. It's completely independent from the original BDArmory mod, providing you with ammunition, command modules, mounts and everything you need to make use of all the weaponry available in it. Every weapon on this pack was researched to be represented accurately, while still maintaining our own style and making them look appealing into the game. The focus of the pack is being used on actual dogfighting, mainly the BAD-T tournament. Because of that a very complex balancing system was created. This means that every weapon is rigorously balanced to be used out of the box, you do not need to worry about tweaking anything in order to have a fair gameplay. Every weapon fulfills a role, and you can choose your preferential stats through different variations of the same weapon. Every parameter, from rate of fire to tracer color is represented as accurately as possible. A lot of research was put on making sure the weapons are as similar to their real life counterparts as possible. Have fun, and good fighting! Parabéns! Ouvi falar sim que docar no RSS é difÃÂcil, mas ainda não fiz. Vou fazer algum dia só pra saber como é. Foguetes de verdade tem uma quantidade ridÃÂculamente pequena de deltav depois que estão em órbita, docking geralmente leva várias órbitas.

É mod, assim, daquele que vc põe e abre no jogo, tem vários assim, o meu não é muito diferente. Deu bastante trabalho, acho que ficou legal. Ele depende de outro mod pra funcionar, mas isso não deve ser um problema, quase todos precisam também. -

Tem que ativar a parte apertando espaço enquanto estiver pousado, pode ser na launchpad mesmo. "Landed" significa pousado.

Yeah, the new AI seems to be much better, I did not get to test it yet but I have only heard good stuff about it. We will probably have to relearn how to use it, and I hope that it allows us to modify as much as possible on the behavior (did you know there is even a setting for how far the airplane will go before turning back for attacking on BDA 0.8.x? But it's global) You may have wondered why didn't I post more battles already. Well, keep wondering. Btw, Azimech's plane goes straight to the HOF, I have never seen a plane sustain that much damage and still fly. It may not be as resistant as the VZ-38 but it can be teared to pieces and go like like nothing happened. Also, the winner's craft will always be public. This way I expect everybody to work on their crafts to be at least as good as the winner of the previous tournament, the quality of our planes is going to grow exponentially. But I don't want this to be an elite challenge, if it becomes too hard to compete I will have to create a "training" version, for people to learn, wouldn't be as serious as this one, mostly public crafts where people run battles by themselves to improve their planes. Anyway, I don't think that will be needed, because...

The AI uses a set of routines over and over again, that is true, but I did not say my AI was smarter, I said that the strategy I used when setting up the parameters was crucial on the battle. It's not an AI side strategy, but a design strategy, it's different. You may notice that regardless of how dumb the AI of the BDArmory version being used, my airplane constantly boom-and-zooms, it was hard to have it to do that. I want to know more about your idea, and I am convincing a lot of improvements that would also help making this challenge more interesting, esp. on FAR. I am sending you my craft via PM right now. At this point of the tournament, good crafts are going to lose, that is normal, you can always improve them for the next one. The idea is to pick up a pace on this and be able to run a tournament very fast, this first one is just a test and my life was not stable enough for me to do that, until now. Also, what is your idea? I am interested.

Sim, aquela coisa antiga que sempre funcionou e continua funcionando muito bem. @Edu: acho que seria melhor eu fazer mesmo. Quem mais está interessado? Não vale a pena fazer um também para não ter ninguém. -

It's confirmed though, that this is a thread to discuss the development of a mod and not that kind of stuff. So, please, stop. -
@TUKE: I check it out every now and then I don't think there is a place for a bomber yet, but I am thinking about heavy fighters, yes. But probably not for the next tournament, unless KSP updates really fast, I need multithreading to handle that much. What do you guys think about the biplane and jet categories, would you rather that I removed them and added a heavy fighter one? You may have noticed I am running many more battles now, the only problem is uploading the videos, is it okay if I rush the battles and tell the results before the video comes? Or do you rather watch it and figure out who won by yourselves? I am heavily considering not uploading videos for the losers bracket other than the final, I don't expect them to be interesting even if edited into a single video.
