  1. I'm running the new dev version of this mod with the cloud pack that came with it, but I'm using HD textures with the TextureReplacer mod and rbray's other mod that compresses textures and in game I'm using ~2.136gb.
  2. Haha, that's pretty awesome! I suppose this kind of design is much easier to fly now that you can do throttle control in the SPH, I'll try this out this weekend.
  3. Yeah, I've played around with large cruiser-esque designs, and they're nice for not having to worry a lot while touring. Lately I've just been trying for minimal designs.
  4. Made a small, efficient, reusable 3-man Duna transfer vehicle. It was pretty fun. I can post a .craft of "Red Fred" and "Rusty Trails" if anyone is interested, I probably won't supply the delivery vehicles though...
  5. Delete the folder clearly marked as city lights.
  6. Downloading now. Not sure if I'll post for points, but this looks fun!
  7. ...just delete the folder clearly labeled as City Lights.
  8. Excellent. Thank you for this mod, rbray89, it's the only one I have installed at the moment.
  9. Hah! Excellent work, Tada! I'll have to try this out this weekend.
  10. I'm in the small and efficient group. I don't see the point of sending up fuel you don't need. Especially when that will eventually cost money.
  11. Well, thanks! I'm planning on making a Fat Sparrow Mk. II soon, the original failed my requirements of a ~51° at 73km orbit (It's where I have my ISS analogue), and I'd like to fix that. But let me know if you would like tweaking in one way or another, or think you have a mission parameter you need designed around.
  12. I was wondering what happened. It seemed like you guys had made a lot of headway, but I didn't consider how old this project was and how many updates had taken place. Look forward to seeing the next project!
  13. I would like to see a feature added in the future that makes planets reflect sunlight to give the planets an appearance of a large star like in real life.
  14. Very nice work. How do you prevent unbalancing when the fuel weight shifts towards the back?
  15. I'm sorry, I rarely have time to check here anymore. I'm glad you found the original download link, but if you're bored enough, I offer all 3 prototypes. Pretty similar, but have fairly distinct flying characteristics.
  16. Not to sound ungrateful, because I do appreciate the kind words, but I feel the need to point to mythmatics' post. I'll take credit for the Sparrows being balanced, but as far as the size, I wouldn't have known unless I saw mythmatics' Venom. I'm afraid I've been out of the loop; what's SSI?
  17. Wow, pa1983, those are some great designs, I'll be downloading them when I have time to play KSP again. Very nice line blending.
  18. Thank you, I couldn't do it with free cam, and the chase cam was too twitchy with keyboard, so it was a lot of fun trying this with a controller for the first time. Look forward to more people cutting the time down a bit!
  19. I recreated a design based on yours, I really like it, very responsive and simple with the new SAS. You set a great pace, finally beat it though with a stock craft after starting to get used to an Xbox controller and the chase cam: It's hard to read the time so here are the master frames from the video capture: Start and Finish, so a 03:26 lap. (I couldn't do it without SAS, chase cam is a little jumpy without it) Thanks for these new courses, Darren, I look forward to trying the long course when I have time. And I hope bT has a bit of luck making a course with his models, I think an air-slalom would be fun as well.
  20. Right off the bat it should hit around 270m/s at around 1km. It will exceed 300m/s through the KerBull air-race mountain courses while remaining stable.
  21. TheHellion: Designed to remain stable at high-speed, low-altitude flights without the need for SAS to guide you. The low-profile makes landing and taking off a bit tricky, I'd recommend ~33% throttle for take-off, and cut the engines all together for landing and just glide it in. This craft abuses part-clipping. (Download the .craft file here (MediaFire)) Let me know what you think!
