Are there any artist stalking this thread?
-
Just what the title says. The author of the wildly popular mod Kerbalism has spent way too much time on these forums giving us that blank stare. I'm sure we can come up with something. Just to get thing started I'll throw my amateurish attempt in the mix. I'm sure @ShotgunNinja will really appreciate our efforts.
-
(Cracks knuckles) Time to get my shuttle flight rated for kerbals and build another station. Glad to see you back @SpeedyB .
-
Are you saying you only have 10 oxygen in a command module? It should be 5,000 oxygen per seat. That should be a 50 day supply in sandbox mode or about 15 days worth just starting out in career mode.
-
Having multiple scrubbers don't help. Since all crewed vessels should in theory should have command modules it makes sense to assign the scrubbers to them.
-
When you grab the winch connector can you still attach parts at the same time?
-
@Tex_NL That's a great idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that. To expand on that I wonder if it would be possible to make a ladder like part that looks like an umbilical to give the illusion of being tethered.
-
I like doing orbital construction with KAS but I often times have difficulty arresting my velocity in relation to my target on EVA. I find myself drifting too far away to place an object before I can position and orient the part correctly. What I would like to do is to get close to my target and upon arrival hit a button that arrests my velocity in relation my target. Or optionally some kind of tether which holds me stationary near the section of the craft I want to attach parts to. A KAS dependency would certainly be ok. I turn wrenches for a living and don't have a clue if this sort of thing is feasible or how much work this would be so please pardon me if I ask for too much. Thanks for your time.

I can now confirm this works just fine with the current Sigma Dimensions based Kscale2. My PC may be a bit better than most but I don't see any real performance drops. This mod should be stock. @Wheffle Have some magic internet points.
-
Same with me just now. And like others have said, How did I miss this? @Wheffle I really like how this stands out from MAPSAT with its stock-alike feel. Does this work with other planet packs assuming they have resources and biomes defined? And what about Sigma Dimensions rescale mod?

@NitPickers As a former breeder I can confirm the spelling is correct. Now shut up and enjoy your super awesome rover. @RoverDude Thanks for doing the stream. I learned much from watching you work. EDIT: And the rover is quite nice too

[WIP] Dangerously Shaded Stock Refresh
Genolution replied to DangerouslyDave's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
If this is ever finished and the final product looks this good. The bricks! Oh my god the bricks! My back side hurts just thinking about it.- 90 replies

CO2 or carbon dioxide is 1 carbon molecule bonded with 2 oxygen molecules. A scrubber just separates the carbon from the oxygen . Edit: @ShotgunNinja you just beat me to it

Is this what I think it is?

Poodmund answers that a few posts up. Short answer is not right now. However Poodmund said he might fix SVE so that we can. Perhaps if He/She see's enought requests, support, begging it will get done sooner rather than later. @Poodmund Just add me to the list of beggars.
-
I got it to work properly and am having a blast playing through a career. I was overjoyed when i attempted to make orbit and failed. SVE works well with this scale. I find myself hitting the screen shot button a lot more often than before. I dont think I can ever go back to stock scale again. Thanks Paul.

So one day i can have all the nice things? I think i love you. Ps. I updated eve and got your stuff to work and I liked the old tekto better. lol you can't please everyone.
-
Yeah I got the same thing. does your mods list look anything like this? I think I'm getting greedy with the 64 bit release. EDIT: Trying to get all this to work together has been a nightmare. Right now I'm uninstalling and reinstalling in different orders hoping MM will know what to do.
-
75% real scale? These parts look amazing. I'm about to do a career with Kscale2. Just trying to figure out how this all scales. Would these part be overkill?
-
@ShotgunNinja This is shaping up nicely. I've been playing ksp for a long time but never actually played through a career. Mostly because I haven't been able to get all the right gameplay elements together to make for an interesting challenge. I think thats all about to change. Thanks for the hard work.

It looks like I discovered the lost city on Atlantis http://imgur.com/3Zs6N5p. I really don't know what I did wrong http://imgur.com/GSlz47M. Maybe I should try that thing where you close your eyes for an extended period of time. Iv'e installed and uninstalled pretty much everything with a plug in. I'm out of ideas. EDIT: The reason I ask here is this looks like a scaling issue to me. idk

I really didnt want to test anymore decouplers slashed down on kerbin so this looks promising. Thanks @iamchairs and @TheDog

[1.2.2] Stock Part Revamp, Update 1.9.6. Released Source Files!
Genolution replied to Ven's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Such good news. I couldn't start 1.1 without this. It just didn't seem right. Thanks Ven and community! -
I was under the impression that windows defender, having such a large user base would have a large database of definitions and would do just fine (especially for free) detecting malware. I think whats more important is not what program you have but how you use it. But I could be wrong. What do I know? I turn wrenches for a living after all.

And is made of gypsum. The building is a glue factory.
