oh, so you think that he belevies the Beep, or chatter, is in some way linked to a given command ? it isn't. it is on a user set timer - Eg. every 30 sec you hear a beep. giving the ship commands in no way 'causes' a beep. delayed or not. or to word it another way: 1. you hear a beep every 30 seconds. 2. you hear a beep every 30 seconds. (but what you have no way to know is that the beep you hear was delayed 2 seconds due to radio delay. but since the previous beep was deleyed by 2 seconds, you still always hear it every 30 secs.)

can you reduce this? perhaps poll every second, or every 100 frames instead? the Lag this does cause is very hard to deal with. EG: I want to launch what will be a tanker, but I wish to launch it with only partly filled tank (otherwise it would eat up 300t of spare parts). so I sit on the pad and burn down the fuel till I get down to about 10% full. however since the polling is draging my system down so much, this takes over 40min even with using a Mainsail to burn off the fuel.

xZise. I don't believe you correctly understand what this mod is/does. This mod adds cute voices, (garblespeak) that simulate radio chatter between a spaceship crew and ground control. - it is just cute sounds,it in no way at all effects HOW you control your ship. If used on an unmanned ship, you hear 'computer chirps' that represent a generic computer radio Ping. - it in no way at all effects HOW you control your ship. you can have this mod, AND remotetech, nothing at all changes. each work as it would be expected to.

indeed a good start.

As Spatzimaus said, .. your desired orbital alt will depend on what the station is FOR, and who is intended to visit it.

[0.22.X] BobCat ind. Historical spacecraft thread

Deltac, judging by the NON-transparent windows, are you running the DEV build of 2.0.7? or the 'regular' build? I have launched every part of the Mir via the Buran, using Mj 2.0.7 'regular' and had no problem. -
I have no idea how KSP might add more suns/planetary systems. But if they do, I want to be able to laugh/cry when people realize the speeds that they enter the system at and realize that they have to figure out how to bleed off near reliviistic speed.... Aerobreaking at the sun? lol

Noob Question: how to Rendez-vous?
Fyrem replied to Augustulus91's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
well done! the next time will be easier. -
just to be clear, LANDING on Eve is easy. Most rocks can do it just fine with no 'chute at all and survive 50% of the time. add just One 'chute and you can land a 100t ship with out any worry at all (ok, perhaps a slight exaggeration). yes, it is the take-off and getting back into orbit on Eve that sucks.

[0.20] RemoteTech: Relay Network – V 0.5.0.1
Fyrem replied to JDP's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This situation requires the player to maintain a Radio link to the craft. But does allow MJ commands to happen instantly IF such a link exists. MJ is locked out if the ship has no radio contact. Thus there are some advantages if MJ is installed. This is by design choice by JDP and the player as to how they want to play KSP. IE: how "hardmode" they really want to be. -
I have it on every ship

We must be refering to different parts. The spaceport ID goes on you spacestation this part really should not be effecting fps. The second part is the space"built" identifier. This goes on a ship that you want to be built "in space". This part is supos to auto-destruct once you use it. So again I don't understand why you are carring one around at all.
