  1. I can do that. I'll include the cameras as well so you can at least test it out.
  2. If you need any help with setting it up let me know. Currently Mihara doesn't have the latest plugin available to download that features the cameras. I compiled it from source. I recently created 8 cameras (must have a unique transform name so each camera has an emptygame object of cameraX where X is a number 1-8) and attached them to various places on the PTK NP:
  3. I created 8 cameras each with their own unique transform names of cameraX where X is a number 1-8. Works wonderfully! I noticed something interesting when I tested the monitor out. The number of the buttons go, which I'm sure knew but just in case. This is in the top 10 mods ever in my opinion. 1 - 2 3 - 4 7 - 5 8 - 6 Other than that I'm
  4. Here you go, the trick was turn on part clipping in the cheat menu (gasp! oh no!). http://www./view/ms8oqcicaxhrlye/AllPistonsStacked.craft place that in your saves\savedgamename\Subassemblies directory. It contains all 9 stacked Telescoping Pistons.
  5. MrTheBull. I am using Mihara's new RasterPropMonitor to solve my problem! His mod is at: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/56240-WIP-Plugin-RasterPropMonitor-v0-2-a-prop-monitor-for-capsule-internals Best part is that it's a prop and doesn't require any crazy reworking for this to be a solution. All I did was assign the camera to your dockingNode transform name. The strange object you see on the screen is actually part of the dockingport's mesh. I can just create another small custom part that is just a small mesh with the transform then I can create as many cameras I want (8 max on one prop screen!) Thanks again for the awesome mod and I can't wait to see what else you have in store. Here's a screenshot.
  6. Not sure, I'll recompile it again when I get home. This solves everything for me. The PTK NP (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/47765-Space-Factory-Ind-%28PPTS-release%21%29) for example is an awesome craft, the only downside is the IVA contains just one little window that you can look out of. Your plugin solves this issue. I now can hang flatscreen monitors and create as many viewports as I want via the screens. Here's a screenshot of that IVA (The wierd object you see on screen is it's own dockingport part that has the dockingNode transform):
  7. I commented in your other thread. I got it to work. This will fix all my annoyances with other IVAs that don't have proper camera views. You win the internet for the day.
  8. Sorry I posted this in the pod thread: Which bolt on cameras? Would it work with a transform name of dockingNode (if using a docking port). I compiled from source, tried it and I'm just getting a gray screen and the buttons don't function. Logfile is spamming: RasterPropMonitor: Turning camera off... NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at RasterPropMonitor.RasterPropMonitor.destroyCameraObjects () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

  10. Wonderful. I clearly forgot you released it for testing. I will spend some time with this and let you know.
  11. I suppose I could do that. I'll make is a separate pack do those who want them can install them. I feel that with all the parts I may be a bit spammy in the ship editor.
  12. Question for you Mihara. Will this be just a prop that one can then place in any command pod? Is it configurable to allow changing the direction of the camera? Reason being is some IVAs, while nice just don't have a decent viewport and I think this would be perfect.
  13. I replaced all 4 with the prop name and only one works. Pretty cool little prop, sucks that the sky is pink. So in order for this to work you have to have a camera gameobject within the model.
  14. Now that's nice. I gave it a try and I'm just seeing a black box. Do I need to change the proxy information (I'm assuming this is the camera properties)
  15. Snjo, I noticed a prop not being used by anything called FScockpitTV. How does one use this?
  16. I understand it doesn't have the vzor but currently there's just one port hole one can use to look out of. You could create a small unobtrusive camera clickable region and not detract from the experience. Like a small computer monitor or even a small switch for example. It was just a small request.
  17. Those were just beta tests. The final product will look better. Next time I will have to out a disclaimer!
  18. For example. Bobcat's TMA Descent Module. While in IVA, if you double click on the periscope, you get an outside view of the capsule:
  19. You can make a clickable region that can change the camera view. Would be nice to have a small "camera" for docking as well as various viewpoints.
  20. I mixed up. I meant the PTK NP.
