  1. It should be fine just be mindful of the speed and when in doubt lock the washer
  2. That may be the other parts mesh collider. Do you have a part I can try this on? I would use the hex lander can to test my connections and they seemed flush.

  6. That's because I somehow removed the code that did the action key. Depending on what version you got I just updated it to 0.3 to include hiding the GUI.
  7. Free moving washer doesn't lock. I haven't removed it from the action group/menu.

  9. Correction. Although I did update it to 0.21, I added sound support, and added a lock mechanism that prevents a part from moving, and added an action group for the locking mechanism.
  10. Well you can do whatever you want just the usual credit for r4mon and myself would be fine. One of the things I do plan on adding is a hide GUI option and support for better action groups. The Move+, Move Center, and Move- action groups currently act weird and they need to be fixed.
  11. Are you renaming a part and not the group? Look at this quick video I did. Groups are FirstGroup and SecondGroup.
  12. This is inherit with the plugin and it only happens when you use symmetry mode. I recall this being an issue with Damned Robotics in the past too. My only suggestion is to place hinges one by one or try Albert VDS's tip.

  14. Not a bad idea but I would first like to rework the plugin completely to use the new "module {}" format and utilize the TacLib window library for drawing GUIs.
  15. True, I would advise anyone to just delete the MSI directory and start fresh. I had so many people fuss that it was Plugin rather than Plugins but in the end it doesn't matter. KSP will still traverse them all. I'll look into it. Hrm. Odd I'll see what happened. Fun fact. Default speed is always 0.3. What you have is probably a hinge tied to the same group and the hinge's property is overriding the default value for the adjustable rail. I may see about providing customizable text boxes for each TYPE of part that is grouped together. for example: Group Name < o > H[ ] R[ ] A[ ] where H is hinge, R is rotatron, A is adjustable rail... we'll see if this is a viable solution. Not sure I'm keen to having questions on "what does H mean?" I'd like to keep the gui size at a minimum.
  16. Glad you guys are enjoying the mod & parts. I've read each and every post and I'll take a look at the issues people are having. We aren't taking over the DR mod. Since it hasn't been updated and I'm not certain if they will revisit it I decided with the help of Devo to create a new fork of the existing code. Then it was just a matter of making new & interesting parts. I hope we succeeded. There are more to come!
  17. Ok good to know. I'll dig around and see what I can do to prevent that from happening. I would imagine this has been a problem even with damned robotics with the piston.
  18. There is a limit set in the CFG called translateMin and translateMax. The only time it breaks is if the speed is set too high. How high I'm not certain yet but that's why the keyTranslateSpeed is set to 0.30 for that part.
  19. Yeah I had fun doing some launches while testing. I think I will leave it as is and leave it up to the user whether they want to break physics or not.
  20. Now that Devo & I published smaller hinges from the Infernal Robotics parts pack you could even have a door with a hinge on it!
