  1. I'd be fine with just a simple hanger with Zero animations and certainly not some kerbal truck drifting outside the VAB (you think I'm joking look for it) The process using sketchup looks painful especially when it comes to skinning,
  2. It is pretty funny and didn't catch it for a few seconds after I read it.
  3. Not sure about that but I do have on my todo list some low profile hinges that you could use to fold away wings in sections like you see on aircraft carriers.
  4. You aren't kidding. That's going to be fun to mess with. What if you have a SSTO craft that is a boat first...launch from ramp then engage the engines! Oh man I just thought of a part to make for this when it comes out.

  7. No you are making sense. Reason why that works is that is tied to an animation. These require actual translations of the objects in order for it to work. I'm sure it can be done but right now I don't want to do the sweat on it right now. I think the only other thing I could think of is maybe an increment field that will move to a certain spot and stop but for now I think this is a good stopping point for the plugin until the next update.
  8. So far I have: 1. Sound works! 2. Customizeable speed control via the Servo Control Window (one speed for each grouping). Moving parts in the VAB is not worth the effort so I'm tabling that idea.

  10. Anyone like Need for Speed? (using KAS's sound for testing since its the only thing I have on this machine) Still need some tweaks for the UI to be done right but enjoy this one. Launch Time?
  11. Funny that you would use wheels and rails for stabilizers. One of the things Devo & I talked about were some legs that will be used for stabilizing cranes and such. Is that using a docking washer for the base of the crane? Damn those are useful.

  15. Hahah. Yeah it will do that. But it at least it doesn't break! I tested it out with my gantry part (which I need to finish!) with a KAS winch. It would stretch but never break!
  16. The good news is we will be released an opened hinge as well as a closed hinge for those that need either. Keep an eye on the Magic Smoke Industries thread. When each part is finished we are releasing them and not waiting for a pack. The sooner the better in my opinion!
  17. Getting frustrated with doing artwork & IVAs so I decided to take a small break to show a neat feature. What you see... or rather what you... oh never mind. It's still testing so you won't get what you... well. Enjoy!
  18. replacement parts aren't ready yet. If you download the forked zip it will only have docking washers and the adjustable rail. you will still need to edit cfg files from Damned Robotics until we release the parts. The hinges just need to be skinned and I'm already working on other parts.
  19. Follow my signature for a newer version that I forked from Damned Robotics (now called Infernal Robotics). The old one is broken. If you want the parts to work from the damned robotics pack, follow the instructions from my signature.
  20. Big legs for sure! Both hinges are done but I'm really terrible on skinning the hinges or maybe I'm too OCD about it.
  21. What part is what I meant. And you mean just move the attachment node? Or actually control the movement of the part in VAB?
