  1. haha that's great. i especially like the sleeping Kerbal being looked at angrily by his colleague, everyone else is excited and agitated, i think he may well be the ballast...er i mean pilot.
  2. I really love this picture, Kerbin is my favourite planet and to see it like this is great. Edit* just saw your other two pictures too and they are awesome, i really like your art-style.
  3. That looks great, really like the effect.
  4. I like how you've stayed true to the way Kerbals look in-game, great stuff. Edit* i also very much like the attention made to the body shapes, Jeb is all tough looking hehe.
  5. i once left Jebediah in orbit around Kerbin for four and a half years, i had sent a probe to Jool and forgot to bring him down, when i went to see him he had the biggest unhappy face i ever seen, maybe they have advanced AI.
  6. Ah i see, i like that it is tied to facial expressions, very clever.
  7. I realise this might be a stupid question but i felt brave enough to ask it, what are they for? And will there be other stats in the future?
  8. What makes me "sad" about KSP is that i'm never really sure of what i'm doing because i am mathematically inept, take rendezvous and docking for example, i've done both numerous times now but i'm still not 100% crystal clear on how i'm doing it, it's even worse if i start thinking about delta V, i make a successful rocket by looking at it and seeing if it "feels" like the kind of thing that can get up there, there's very little conscious calculation put into my efforts and i regret that, because whenever i achieve something i have this uncomfortable feeling that i may not be able to replicate that same success in the future, and that i work on instinct mostly which is not a good thing, i achieve stuff in KSP in the same way a homing-pidgeon gets home, without much thought. Still i enjoy the game immensely so i should be grateful for that.
  9. So far for me the good old Mun, as i have yet to land on any moon other than that or Minmus.
  10. Thanks man that's very kind, still going through your tunes, they really are good.
  11. There was a steam sale for kerbal, that probably explains the big jump in numbers, lets hope the new guys and gals become as enamoured of the game as we have.
  12. Great pics and soundtrack, i managed to get a probe into an egg-shaped orbit around Jool once but that's as far as i got hehe, you make the music yourself? it's really good. Edit* Just going through your other tunes, they're really good, do you think if i bought music creator on Steam i could make music like you or are you using really expensive tools?
  13. I called it "space-farers grid map" which doesn't sound right, i wonder what the real name for that kind of spacey parchment might be.
  14. There's an awesome music track and some exciting looking drawings of rockets on special space-farers grid map. Found it on youtube described as "credits to the best game ever made" which i can't really argue with.
  15. I just found a playlist on youtube that seems to have all the game's tracks, the main artists seem to be Victor Machado and Kevin Macleod, i LOVE the music and hope there will be more in the future, maybe even moon and planet specific like Holst's "the planets," i've said that a few times though, i'm starting to sound like a broken record, it's just that i'd like that so much hehe.
  16. My excuse is i don't see very well, i don't just miss sentences i can miss entire threads, my friends are forever wrting me in CAPSLOCKS, but i seen your video and i think it's very good.
  17. The Mun And Minmus are my most common destinations, the Mun fills me with a sense of awe, Minmus fills me with a sense of wonder, i had to look in the dictionary to realise these similar words mean different things, awe has a tinge of unease or fear attached to it, wonder however is free of those, both make a great impression on me.
  18. In my opinion religion gets a lot of bad rap for things that have nothing to do with it, greed for land, greed for power, greed for pleasure, all those things are too embarrassing to admit to so it's easy to say, "God says i should do this," it sounds more noble, if religion didn't exist war would carry on as always, that's my opinion at least, humans are apes, massively clever but apes nonetheless, and all those base desires of want and greed will be sought after by the powerful, religion is just used as an excuse.
  19. I really enjoyed that, pretty cool, it's refreshing to see something that isn't saturated with special effects.
  20. 1700 mph, amazing stuff Just found a live video stream too: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/live-iss-stream
  21. Hey guys, It's quite possible you all know about this tracker but i thought i'd share what i found, it's a website that tracks the position of the ISS, i found it just now though so i don't know if it's a safe site or not, i never heard of it till now but it's pretty cool, right now it's passed South America and on it's way across the North Atlantic ocean heading for the North of France, i wonder who's up there looking down right now http://www.isstracker.com/
  22. Draw Jeb, Bill and Bob under a tree having a picnic on Laythe, complete with picnic cloth, sandwiches, drinks, jam etc, Jool in the sky and their spaceship nearby.
