But to answer the question for everyone else, tell me about the expdedition. Where is it? What is its purpose? What has it done? Is there anything interesting about the place that you think might help me out? A screenie would be awesome as well, but not really required.

OK... I was intrigued by the idea that you'd put up Spacelab... Without a lab. So I did two for you, one with something obviously missing.

I know. I'm keen to make some changes to them actually.
I've suggested it to split off my stuff, but I think we might have to wait for 1.1?
Operations will be coming this week. There's not as much as for Science and Engineering.
In other news (got all excited and then forgot to mention this), I've accounted for @Errol's feedback and moved around Lance Corporal and Corporal (thanks!).
I've also got some feedback offline that ATM was mangling the patterned texture I had used for the background, so I've changed to a matte background. Should work better. I've also added Chief Master Sergeant (seriously, how many Sergeant ranks do you guys in the US have?), as this is apparently should be the apex of the Enlisted ranks.
Per @blu3wolf's suggestion, I've moved everything to Kerbalstuff, and ticked the box to get everything up on CKAN (thanks!). Hopefully it'll work without me needing to muck around with it.
Still keen to hear from people wanting their expeditions worked up. Still keen to hear any other feedback

Added on to mine. I'm delving out a little from just ranks and am now doing ribbons for each of my expeditions.

UPDATE 6/4/21 Still seems good. I'm not sure, because @Nereid hasn't updated FF, but everything looks OK.
Getting into the game it helps to give the Kerbals a little bit of character. Using Final Frontier and my ribbon pack gives you the opportunity to acknowledge the experience and expertise of your Kerbals, besides through their skills.
These are all user-assigned. But I am keen to talk with anyone who might like to write a plugin to make promotions and assignment of roles easier.
ALSO: Want a set of ribbons for your expeditions like the ones below? Ask, and I'll see what I can do. FAQ below.
REQUIREMENTS
Before we go any further, the Ribbon Packs below are designed to work with Final Frontier by Nereid. Final Frontier 0.9.1 or higher must be installed and working properly in order for this mod to work. Visit the Final Frontier Thread.
INSTALLATION
Download the packs that you want below and move the GameData file from the RAR to your KSP folder. Overwrite where it asks to do so.
SET 1 - RANKS PACKS (Last updated 13/03/16)
SpoilerThe first 3 packs are for Ranks. I've simplified the rank structure of the military organisations of Australia, the US and elsewhere, while keeping them unique. I also intentially ignored the usual ribbon design, and bumped the prestige up high so the ranks show up distinctively against the other ribbons a Kerbal has earned. The ribbons are shown in the Spoiler below:
You can pick and choose which packs you want to install as they do not depend on each other. Personally, I don't see many Generals or Corporals in space, but I digress.

I tried to think about who would be on the "bridge" of a large spaceship, and what they would be doing. Also, what a Pilot would do if they were hanging around a base when the base wasn't... Flying somewhere? Hence Land Ops, Administrative and Agricultural.
I thought about adding one for Atmospheric Ascent/Descent and Landing, but this should be bread and butter for any Pilot. Same goes for Docking and almost every other piloting job.
If you can think of any other roles that can't be adequately included in the above, let me know and I'll think about adding them.

SET 5 - EXPEDITIONS PACK (UPDATED 13/03/16)
SpoilerI like knowing what missions my Kerbonauts have been involved with over the course of their careers. If you do too, then this ribbon pack is for you.
For each Expedition, a base ribbon, 2IC and Leader ribbon are given.
If you can think of any other roles that can't be adequately included in the above, let me know and I'll think about adding them.

If YOU want me to design a ribbon for any of your bases/expeditions, get in touch and I'll see what I can do. Subject to the following points:
- Tell me about the expedition. I need to know the name of the expedition, but... Where is it? What is its purpose? What has it done? Is there anything interesting about the mission that you think might help me out? A screenie of the craft/station/base would be awesome as well, but not really required.
- All Expedition ribbon sets have the same format: a general ribbon for everyone involved, a 2IC ribbon for the second in charge, and a Commander ribbon for the boss.
- It might take me a while to get things done. I'm a Dad (to two beautiful, clever girls) and a Husband (to a fantastic wife), I work full-time as a teacher (and let me tell you how many hours I work outside of work...), and I really really enjoy actually playing KSP (among other games) myself. I'll do this stuff for people in my free time.
- Unless you're unhappy with it, it will get added to the Expeditions Pack, which anyone can download and use. If you are unhappy about it for whatever reason, let me know as soon as possible.
- That said, I exercise absolute design discretion. If you don't like the result, I'm very sorry, but tough. I'll remove it from my pack as soon as you let me know but you're going to have to live with it. I'm not really willing to go back and forth creating the perfect work for anyone (I had a brief, frustrating experience where "design" was added to one of my previous jobs' description; didn't end well).

Not that much of an inconvenience, but yeah, you're right.
Maybe keep it in your back pocket for the 1.1 update. I'm pretty sure no one will mind savebreaking changes when probably savebreaking hosts are made to the whole game. Let me know.

Thinking about it... Do you want to spin off all the roleplay only ribbons? Or, at least the ones I've contributed?
That way, you can save a bit of screen space (and so on) for the people who have no interest in them?

Yeah, I read the readme. I've also seen one other person (Aryam?) who had the same idea, so I'll make sure theirs and mine don't conflict.
Mine will be ready tonight as soon as I can get 3yo and 1yo to bed.

Nereid: what is prestige for? I imagine it's for determining which ribbons get displayed "above the fold" while others get hidden if there's too many, and only displayed when the full set of ribbons for that Kerbal displays?
So, is a higher or lower number going to be better? I've got a pack of rank "ribbons" ready to go, but I'd prefer for them to be displayed first...

Right, but I don't think (but I don't know) if it "supports" this mod's centrifuge, ie, assume every kerbal in it is under 1G (or any other gravity if it can be tweaked)Special extra bonus for using Habitat Pack, as Porkworks Centrifuge part is currently the only part configured by default to bestow EXERCISE on crew on missions
I don't use either mod, at the moment (I don't have the RAM budget, hurry up 1.1/Unity 5), but yeah.

Since no mod nor the stock game simulate the effects of microgravity in the kerbonauts' health, it has no gameplay effect.

I'm a teacher, so I know NCLB (which is more or less the opposite of what it sounds), so I put two and two together.
I've lost Kerbonauts before. Primarily on Ascent from/Descent to Kerbin. But, where I can do something to save someone, I do it. And damn the consequences. This has sometimes meant that Kerbonauts have had to camp out somewhere with limited supplies until I can get a rescue mission to them.
There have been some comical times, like when I was still figuring out how to land on the Mun, and I wrecked the Lander. Then wrecked the Lander sent to rescue the crew of the first Lander. Got it on the third try, however.
