  1. A cool thing happened when editing in GIMP. Creepy smiley face: Also, the next bit of my Oceans of Eve AAR is taking shape. ETA, one week, give or take. This is awesome. A kerbal... voodoo doll.. face.. thing? An explanation s'il vous plaît? This is beautiful.
  2. Untracked objects are able to be altered by hyperedit, or at least, they appear in the list of things you can alter.
  3. The first one who got out and lived was Melmy Kerman. The first ones who touched it sort of were Jeb, Bob and Bill in the 0.13 demo. The "touch" lasted less than a second..... Though I like to think of those pre-eva enabled kerbals as bobble-headed-dummies.
  4. One thing- always strut inwards from a booster. This allows you to copy the booster using alt, should you need another, without having to to all the strutting again.
  5. Recently, in KSP, I: Observed that wack-a-kerbal things cannot be recycled. Struggled with a glitched lifter. Slightly mispositioned separation thrusters, and got dangerous, if cool flippiness.
  6. Agreed. It would be a challenge to base build there
  7. I do want to hear! More opinions please people, I bet other teams feel the same. I so want to reply about your assessment of ours but argghNotAloweddnjdobjnfvlmsnwjoa sbnjfv mcx,.......
  8. Look closely. Some call my kerbal space station creepy.
  9. Yes, but what sorts? And of what average size? ... Dun dun dun! ... though it is possible that my kerbals were just looking for an excuse to sit about watching videos all day.
  10. *Blows raspberry* Such varied entries. *speculates wildly who made what* Not all the reddit ones are to my taste, though they are still works of amazing cleverness. Now, the anxiety as we wait for results... ↑ Click here for awesomes ↑
  11. Oo, a promotional thread. Or perhaps I should say, more data for our team's analysts and strategists......
  12. I didn't rescue this guy. He's been orbiting Minmus for ages now, like some kind of one man space station. I also didn't get a heavy load into orbit due to glitches. So frustrating. Ended up hyperediting, to achieve what should've been possible.
  13. makes it sound like as soon as the voting started it was fair game. But just like you m1, everyone assumes it's after the voting stops. So I say we just all stick to that idea. It wasn't perfectly clear, as you pointed out. But we got some clarification: Yes, that's correct.
  14. New pet peeve. When this happens. I had it almost in orbit damn it!
  15. I think they're fine without a new textures, kerbals are nothing if not clever and willing to try anything.
  16. Patience Padawans. Go launch some insanities. Or read fanworks! (Here's some to get you started ) It will get here. I'm going to conclude all my posts in this thread with this. Also, looking back on all the photos of our teams trophy.... arg, hope we picked the right one!
  17. We've all got to be proper gentlekerbs, and keep quiet until it's done, but if we find the reddit entries, (or forum entries for that matter) get vastly more votes, that could be a sign that something is up.I hope this is not the case, and it all runs smoothly. Also, will the poll only be on the forums, or will there be a Reddit one also? ↑ Click here for awesomes ↑
  18. Past threads have shown the majority of forumers are male, but the amount of females is definitely not negligible.
  19. The feeling is 100% mutual. From what Rowsdower just confirmed, it's going to be tricky not owning up to which one's ours, until the right time. Their 6pm is my 9am.. I need to sleep. Damn you uni all nighter sleep pattern.
  20. I was under the impression that the images would not be identifiable, to give everyone a fair go- the image must be judged on its merit, not the team's own hype. Plus, if all the images, including the reddit ones are going to be here, if theirs are identifiable, they will also be judged with bias. But I may be misinterpreting. Nevertheless, the Jedi Team will have both concepts that didn't get used, and full albums in our promotional thread once it is acceptable for us to do so. ↑ Click here for awesomes ↑
  21. When braking, I tend to tap the B button to slow down, rather than holding it. This works fine as long as rover is well balanced. Remember the basics- low center of gravity, wide enough base, etc. Though this must be balanced so you have sufficient clearance to handle the changes in terrain angle.
  22. Another 21 year old reporting in here.
  23. Our plans have been coming together nicely. Soon, the team will be finalising our submission. Couldn't sleep, so made this:
