  1. Is there any possibility of support for linux-track? I would really like to try this but don't have KSP on Windows.
  2. I have had this bug in a stock game. For me it shows up if I switch applications while the Space Center scene is loading. If I keep KSP open the bug does not occur. (Running OSX here.)

  4. I get the "no procedural parts" bit, but why can't Squad just weld the fairings together on launch so they separate in two pieces?
  5. I think that's the new EVE ground shaders, not scatterer mod. Scatterer mod adds aerial perspective, which makes mountain tops more visible as they are above the thickest atmosphere, while EVE just has a sort of general haze.
  6. In the comic, the rocket has an efficient enough nuclear engine that instead of going into orbit they just burn straight for the moon, accelerating halfway there and then decelerating the other half. I wonder whether this could have an option for a similarly efficient engine.

It might be interesting to give a higher payout if you actually recover the tested parts - e.g. if you have a contract to test a radial decoupler, you'd get a better paycheck if you recovered it on parachutes than just let it hit the ground (better than just the funds gained from recovery of parts, that is).

  11. Hmm...paper is pretty lightweight, much more so than 3d-printed stuff. So, we could actually put solid rocket motors in these, and launch them!
  12. Kerbals in freefall aren't really animated, actually. They fall vertically because that is the angle at which they left a vehicle. If you make a Kerbal fall sideways it will continue falling sideways until it hits the ground.
  13. Wait, ten thousand delta-V to get to the Mun? Or am I misunderstanding that?
  14. Actually, it already integrates with KerbinSide. That information is already in the first post, but maybe I need to make it more visible.
  15. Good point. I'll add a check that you're on the ground for at least 5 seconds before revoking takeoff clearance.
