[0.20] RemoteTech: Relay Network – V 0.5.0.1
lyndonguitar replied to JDP's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You meant remote control and command? The only difference about them is command can be used to directly control nearby ships instead of the actual mission control. thus reducing some delay, other than that I think they're the same -

[0.20] RemoteTech: Relay Network – V 0.5.0.1
lyndonguitar replied to JDP's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This is better than I expected! Yeah the only problem is the mechjeb disabling. mechjeb should be able to continue moving because after all its pre-planned and automated. Other than that this is really awesome, I didn't imagine it was this fun -

[0.20] RemoteTech: Relay Network – V 0.5.0.1
lyndonguitar replied to JDP's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I am totally playing RemoteTech now Looks like I lied. Another question. Remote Control and Remote Command are basically just the same except for the fact that Have a remote command removes the delay required to travel from the KSC to the vessel(provided that you have 3 man) It looks like this. KSC(1min) -> RemoteControl(1min) -> RemoteControl(1min) -> RemoteControl(1min) = delay total 4 mins. BUT if you put RemoteCommand on the middle KSC(1min) -> RemoteControl(1min) -> RemoteCommand(1min) -> RemoteControl(1min) = delay total 2 mins. Did I get it right? -

[idea, need help] Interplanetary Rallycross.
lyndonguitar replied to automcdonough's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
My idea, the entire Course should be video-captured. then It's just a matter of who's got the shortest video (provided that you completed all the courses), + the craft file of the vessel you used. This would be a good challenge! When a certain deadline finishes, the top and the 5 next closest entries' videos would be edited side by side and then It's like a real race! Complete with commentary if someone wants to do it -
[0.20] RemoteTech: Relay Network – V 0.5.0.1
lyndonguitar replied to JDP's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I have this sitting on my Mods collections folder for days now, and whenever I think about installing it, I would think about how tedious it is to deploy satellites, managing their orbits/inclinations, the hardcore-ism it brings, and It makes me hesitate. Even if I like realism, I still can't convince myself to use this mod. Is it worth it guys? to the creator: Can you make a softcore version which only requires one satellite per body? basically making the probes "radio" through objects? -
Bought it last month, owned the game for 30+ days now, guess how many hours on steam? 366 HOURS 366/24 = 15.25. 15 Days out of 30+ Days. I've been playing almost 12 hours/day for more than a month But not my no.1 game, many other games got lot more hours than this one. for example the last game I've played this much was CS:GO, it alone has 400+ Hours, played competitive in the course of 2-3 months, Ofcourse I got tired, bought another game, which happened to be KSP. (notice the large genre difference) That can change though. I'm just starting to like the game and It's not even completed yet
