  1. Yes!!! Finally .20.2 seems to have fixed the missing tree problem.
  2. I remember my first attempt to land on the Mun... KSP was the first time I ever used M/s. So I thought that 30 m/s was a good landing speed, somehow the Pilot managed to survive.
  3. Thanks everyone! Finally I have landed the first Kerbals on Tylo: As it turned out, pitching up to about 60 degrees (rather than 15 degrees like I originally tried) was the answer. Though the ship only has about 800 liquid fuel, and 1000 oxidizer left. But with only the Atomic Engines the lander has a TWR of 1, so it might reach orbit!
  4. Hi, I'm trying to land on Tylo with this lander: It has 4 Atomic engines and 2 aerospikes, with a thrust to weight ratio of around 1.4 according to mechjeb. My plan is to use the Nukes to slow down the horizontal velocity, and then use the aerospikes to land. So far, I've tryed 3 times, each of which ended in crashing into the ground at around 600m/s. Any ideas on good decent profile?
  5. When .17 came out, the first thing I landed on was Gilly (Its not on the poll!). Though originally I wanted to go to Laythe, but that turned out to be way to hard to do first. So I ended up on Gilly instead.
  6. Yea, Mechjeb didn't really teach me anything either. But that's probably because I've been playing since .16 and only got Mechjeb a few days ago.
  7. Did anyone notice how the pitch, roll, and yaw indicators and the warp bar , AND the docking mode icon are all broken?
  8. Mission Success! 44 Liquid Fuel, 53 Oxidizer Undocking: Landing: Landed!: Ascent and rendezvous: Return trajectory: Reentry: Landed!:
  9. The whole ship just disappeared??? Did you go through a Mun Arch by any chance?
  10. Since .16 Also, I don't think this will be locked since this thread is different than that other one right?
  11. I you right-click/left-click (can't remember which) and drag on the Kerbal, they should turn.
  12. I'm starting to think that Bill is even crazier than Jeb.
  13. The Ion Engine, that thing is sooooo useless. It can't even push a tiny probe to were its needs to go, and before we had rover wheels all my rovers had them and well, those didn't go very far...
  14. All the planets and moons in KSP are about 10 times smaller than their real life counterparts, but the gravity is still the same.
  15. I used to call it "Kerbol", but now I refer to it as "The Sun".
  16. Here's my Checklist: 1- Don't make a Checklist 2- Mess something up badly 3- Come up with a terrible solution 4- Epic Fail
  17. Nope, the object is not solid. Though the last time I checked was back in .19.1...
  18. Like I said , it is NOT in orbit like the wiki says. Its altitude is just raised very high above the surface as if there was a huge mountain there for it to sit on, but there isn't a mountain so it just floats above the surface (if that makes any sense).
  19. I Found it... Its a Monolith hovering at about 11.5 Km above "sea" level. I can post a pic if anyone wants proof. And no, it's not in orbit.
  20. No, I don't think so. On my mining base the converter just sucks Kethane from ALL the Kethane Tanks and puts fuel into ALL fuel tanks. Though, I'm not sure if the parts in between need to be crossfeed capable.
  21. 35- Fly into the Sun 36- Stack Kerbals on top of eachother
