  1. Yea I saw it in the menu. But I didn't think to click it.
  2. Why do I always crash into the launch tower! Also:
  3. Is this terrain for all the planets and moons, Or only Kerbin?
  4. Congratulations! But your first planet is Moho? I've landed nearly everywhere and STILL not Moho.
  5. I think it should be possible to change the "debris" marking to something else such as a "lander" without needing control or a command pod (as we do now). So then it wont disappear after a while.
  6. Yea I do it the old fashion way by just burning when the Mun rises. I mainly only use maneuver nodes to plan interplanetary transfers and when the ship is very low on fuel.
  7. But the water is so dense that ANYTHING that hits it at a high speed will surely be disintegrated upon impact.
  8. Congratulations! Very well done. And the fact that the kerbals were returned to Kerbin makes it even more of a success.
  9. Number of parts destroyed in a crash Amount of RSC used by ASAS Number of Kerbals left on a distant planet Number of eva re entrys Number of space stations destroyed by ASAS
  10. SSTOs defiantly, I've gone through countless designs (and Kerbals) and only a few planes have made it to space.
  11. Moar Boosters!!!! It would be awesome if the shuttle could go to Mars. And I would probably add a way for it to land on low gravity planets with little/no atmosphere.
  12. Move the rover off the pad/runway. And then launch a 3-man pod. Then the kerbals just have to walk to the rover
  13. And we have landed!! Well, sort of. But we can duct tape it back together right? Nope;.;
  14. The first thing I will do is build a huge ship and do a tour of the Jool system.
  15. I used to just leave it all until both Kerbin orbit and interplanetary space were completely flooded with debris. It got to the point where close calls with hitting a debris was a big problem. But now I try to take care of it if possible by either dropping it before the ship makes orbit or drop the stage while the ship is on a crash course with whatever celestial body I'm heading to.
  16. I recently had my worst fail ever. I was testing out my new space shuttle by putting a comm satellite into orbit and then landing the ship on minmus. It did all that with out troubled and was reentering over KSC. Its was about 2 km from the runway when the Kraken attacked. First, the left tail suddenly exploded and fell to pieces. The other tail did the same a few seconds later. At that point I was panicking, the shuttle had lost the rudders and elevators, and the engines has flamed out(the intakes were on the rudders). I knew Jeb could still land it, but then the entire left wing went. The ship stalled and plowed into the ground. Only 1.3 km from the end of the runway. So close. RIP Bill, Jeb, and Bob
  17. My most useful ship is the Centauri V Launcher I'm using it to launch pretty much everything into orbit that will be used by my space station and future mun base. And its fully reusable! You just have to glue it all back together again and its ready to go back to space.
  18. Mission to Minmus: $3565 On the Pad Launch Space! Landing Landed!
  19. No, manned pods need at least one Kerbal to function. However you could put a probe body on the ship to provide control while the Pilots are away.
  20. I tried to make a Space Shuttle once, it didn't go so well...
