  1. And you won't. That info is kept confidential between the individual member and the mods/admins. But basically, you are given points for repeated violations of the Community Guidelines. Accrue too many, and your posts may need to get approved again, or as a last resort, temporary or permanent banning from the forums. We really try to work out issues prior to handing out points, points are reserved for users who just don't seem to get the message. While there is a recommended scale of punitive actions vs amount of points earned, there is quite a bit of discretion involved with it. We try not to discuss the point scale, as it could lead to some trying to game the system.

    Ohhhhh... I like those Rizzo
  3. @Stone Blue & @Brigadier, I've bumped up the issue up the ladder. We'll just have to wait and see if they can fix it.
  4. I vaguely recall seeing something like this stone, but the general consensus of the mods is, we're not sure what you're referring to... more details perhaps?
  5. Ok guys. The mods are watching this one, as it does bring up some interesting aspects of the game. So stick to the facts and maths, keep any personal references out it.
  6. Perhaps they are. But the game has been out for ~8 years, and the stock game and mods have always seemed to handled these possible discrepancies with no issues. Maybe they are wrong, but if it doesn't affect anything....
  7. There have been a number of community based servers started, searching the forums for "discord" might reveal a few of them.
  8. Thanks for the updates, @tater, but due to both logistical and financial reasons, trip isn't going this year...
  9. Looks like an "Oxygen Not Included" Liquid lock. Although.... If that door is elevated some above the ground, so the shuttle has to drop vertically down a small shaft, the pressure in the hangar shouldn't be able to push the liquid up over the top of the shaft. There's some height H that the force gravity will overcome the force of the air pressure inside the hangar. Although....(mk2)..... that would cause a 50-75% depressurization (guessing) inside the hangar as the volume suddenly increased, bursting everyone's eardrums and causing various sorts of other barotrauma. So anytime the the lock gets utilized, you'll have to evacuate the hangar, and seal it off from the rest of the base. And then you'd have to wait for the liquid to subliminate enough inside the shaft to restore equilibrium. Mercury might be dense enough to not cause the massive displacements though. But now everything is covered in a toxic liquid metal.
  10. While a good thread, I know we've had bigger ones before. Even if it's not included in the base game, I would love to see one of our genius modders come along and work something up. Since the travel between the ground station and orbital station would be boring for gameplay reasons, I would suggest using something like EPL to warp a payload to the oribital station (and vice versa) after a given time frame.
  11. So it's still a guess, at best. The question was about KSP2 specifically, not about any game based upon anecdotal evidence. You can post your assumptions here, but you need to specify they are assumptions. Intentionally misleading others is generally frowned upon.
  12. Moved to KSP2 Discussion. I'd say let's have the base game for a bit first before we start offering up more money.
  13. It's really not.... Oh yeah.... that's what I meant
  14. Quite likely. Let's not go spreading around guesses and rampant speculation, trying to pass them off as facts @OOM. That helps nobody. When Star Theory has hard facts they are willing to release, they will do so. From the KSP2 Steam Page: MINIMUM: OS: System Requirements Coming Soon RECOMMENDED: OS: System Requirements Coming Soon
  15. Some days, I'm browsing just like I always have, posting stupid uniformed, possibly slightly inaccurate, help in the variety of questions threads. Other days, We're busy enough that I don't get into the forums on a casual level. Also depends on the amount of time I have for the forums that day. Still playing my 1.3.1 career save, when I do play, with 80+ mods to it. KW rocketry, Final Frontier, bunch of others. I have dabbled with 1.7, but my bandwidth limits my downloads, so I haven't touched 1.8 yet.
  16. Overlapping threads have been merged, with a mismatch of the OP to the thread title.
  17. Moved to Add-on discussion. That looks like the Mk4 Expansion, which is current.
  18. This already exists, sorta. There's a mod out there that allows your mobile device to act as an interface and controls for KSP, while providing a "HUD" for pertinent info. There are other mods that allow for direct control of KSP through custom arduino based hardware. No I don't recall the mod names.
