I can see the Panther Nuke is nicely proportioned and balanced and designed to lift off horizontally so am not quibbling about that but the screenshots and your description seem to stop at the Mün, did your intrepid Kerbals get back to Kerbin and land safely?

Just Jim thanks for your mission report, looks like a good mission and K-Prize capable craft but I just need to check it reached orbit with PE > 70km in the specific mission you reported before adding it to the guest list. Sorry but wouldn't be right of me to assume and I cannot otherwise tell, since the space screeny has no data to show orbital velocity and your post did not say so.

    I just started a new career for 1.0.5 and selected 0 starting money and 60% rewards. The first two missions were for a crew report and a launch and offered total rewards of about 10k funds. After completing the mission which consisted of Jeb surviving a launch which accidentally activated the parachute as well as the SRB at the same time (capsule needs a bit of rewiring) the total funds were 33k. Something about this doesn't add up! Is there a first mission bonus or something I am missing or is the game bugged here?

    It is not a stipulation, so please yourself, the only stipulation is that the liftoff begins horizontally but that can be as short as you like. The point of that rule is to exclude rockets. See the first page for the rules.

    OK, good luck. Fluburtur thanks for your mission report, did the K919 actually make orbit there (>70Km AP and PE) ? I looked at the images and text but they didnt show or state this. And while I am here congratulations to Gojira1000 for completing the K-Prize mission with "Lovely little stock scooter", you will have to give me the name if you want it changed!     Yup its open Just Jim, the K-Prize is yours if you make a report of what your craft did in the sense of relevant accomplishments on a real mission which achieved the challenge goals, your word is good enough, but screens etc are welcome and engaging. In particular the take off has to be horizontal, orbit PE > 70Km, landing intact on Kerbin. See first page for rules. Have updated it to specify how to participate etc.

Though I am not sure if you want a gatecrashers link for the failed mission after the successful one, so say if you do. Lothsahn, thanks for your contribution, to win the K-Prize there needs to be a statement or demonstration that a specific mission was completed. In your post you were clear about putative capabilities and that a mission had demonstrated certain mission objectives but did not show or state that these same missions had resulted in a successful landing and completion. Could you please clarify about specific completed missions, if you would like an official link on the front page, thanks And the K-Prize rule is that if it is in the stock game you can use it, applies to all engines, rules are on the first page.

    well played all. I get the impression FAR is trickier RCgothic but as I am sure you understand the reason for considering it is a gatecrasher mod is the challenge needs a standard, else people could mod their own atmosphere and make it easier. So the stock physics is the standard. But gatecrasher exists to allow allcomers to showcase designs, so thanks for your mission report which is duly linked as a gatecrasher with a teensy quip, hope that is OK.     Thankyou EvermoreAlpaca, looks like a very capable spaceplane from your mission videos. So did you run the mission specifically to work in harmony with the K-Prize rules? Looks complete for a Utilitarial Commendation plus Advanced Pilot Precision Award, assuming there was no fuel usage from the payload during the lift to orbit, which I was unable to verify, can you confirm that? Your word is good enough, just to be sure I am not assuming anything.

    Thankyou astrobond, very kind. I guess the page count depends on our personal profile preferences for how many posts are loaded per page. Nevertheless, it says 100 here and that is a lot of contributions whichever way you look at it, so thanks everyone and thanks to Squad for all the nice spaceplane parts. I wonder when life will begin to immitate art and someone will build a spaceplane for real, one day I feel sure.

    Correct RCgothic, I am afraid it changes the flight conditions which means we are not comparing like for like, though there are several gatecrashers who did likewise so if you wanted to make a mission report then it would get a link among the infamous gatecrashers!     Przemqo and Scarecrow88, can you please confirm that you completed the K-Prize mission if you want to be included in the roll of honour. eg I need to know if a mission was completed from start to finish in its entirety and not just if a ship is capable of doing it. Did it reach orbit with PE > 70km and did it land intact ? Your word is good enough but you need to say what your craft did wrt the challenge mission, the images you kindly showed in the thread do not tell enough of the story to confirm completion and you didnt otherwise say that you did. It would be wrong of me to asume you had if you hadnt, some people come here just to share designs. Hope that makes sense.

Its just you haven't said so and none of the images show it was the case as far as I can see, so it would be presumptious of me to assume you had done the mission, since some people just want to share ships. GraviTykillz, thats a remarkable craft you have there but I am sorry to say the refuelling means the mission is a gatecrasher so I hope you enjoy your gatecrasher link. 1. treat as payload ie cannot contribute to lift or thrust in the mission flight, but counts if payload is left in orbit. Descent payload does not count except must not contribute to lift or thrust including attitude control, as per payload rules otherwise it is like refuel or combo-craft. 2. nop, someone else can run that challenge and have fun, maybe you could do it? 3. yup
