  1. Attempting to pick up either of the Sarnus fins afer attaching them results in great deals of NRE spam in the log, and the in ability to actually pick them up. Also, as an aside what engines are best used with the Sarnus parts (for now)?
  2. The OMS engines dont have enough delta-V to circularize an EMPTY shuttle to what I consider to be a pretty standard LKO of 100kmx100km. They need much more thrust for the amount of fuel on the shuttle. Im not averse to riding the ET to circularize but Id much rather not have to. I also agree with MrMeeb, the engine mount should probably be angled more like the real shuttle is, rather than a flat 90* like it is now.
  3. I feel like the body flap has way too much drag. Every time I reenter, I find the shuttle trying to spin it self so its rear first...
  4. This shuttle flies wonderfully... EDIT: well until you reach the atmosphere on reentry... then it falls like a rock (which to be fair even happens on my own shuttles Ive tried to build with CA)
  5. Lots of work is being done. You can try contacting him, but like I said, I dont think hes currently looking for anyone else to help.
  6. Nope, no idea on how to properly get the texture to look good, most Ive ever done is add names to the shuttles. Helldiver is the lead developer on the project, but Im honestly not sure if hes looking for any more people to help test right now.(And at the moment, there isnt anything to actually test.)
  7. Well... I cant see that image... The XS-25 livery was the 'official' testing livery. Everyone who tested the Super 25 had it. Im pretty sure its still kicking around on my HDD somewhere too. It was meant to be an easy way for helldiver to know whether or not any screen shots posted were from the testers, as far as I remember. However, I doubt any aircraft would fly unpainted like you suggest.
  8. Worry not from what Ive seen from helldiver, things are going well. But beyond that, there isnt much to say right now. Im gonna talk to helldiver and see if theres anything we can tell you guys, just so you know where we are.
  9. In regards to the bolded, the proper answer is: "When it's done." All I can say is work is being done. (Just as an etiquette thing, BTW, it's improper to ask for an ETA). Also... Ive not exactly been hiding that work is underway... but I cant confirm or deny anything beyond that. I just want you guys to be excited... but please dont get crazy about it... someone might tell me to stop saying anything... and I dont want that, Im just trying to keep people engaged (because I know what its like waiting for an update to something). And yes, as Raptor22 said: the version of the KSOS posted in this topic as of the writing of this post (version 4.13) does not work on 1.1. Even if the shuttles themselves did, the landing gear would be beyond broken. Similarly the wheels for all of the ground support vehicles would also be beyond broken. If youre attempting to use version 4.13 on 1.1, then you arent going to have a good time. If youre on 1.0.5, however, please ensure you have installed 1.0.5 compatible versions for ALL dependancies for the KSOS (conveniently linked in the original post) and installed the KSOS correctly. (The KSO folder should be in your KSP 'GameData' folder).
  10. Cant confirm or deny. Anything. Just know there is work happening.
  11. Nope, the redownload worked... which is odd... because EVE had been working prior to trying this... SVE looks good though...
  12. I did. I just redownloaded it to see if something got corrupted in the first one...
  13. Tried this and it didnt work. I had no clouds or anything...
  14. If you bought it via Steam, you can access the 1.1 pre-release by right clicking on KSP in your Steam Library, going to Properties, going to the betas tab, and selecting it from the drop down.
  15. Man I wish EVE wouldnt disable the clouds... its making me sad that I cant have them... I guess I can try stepping down to one of the lower res versions of SVE...
  16. So I dont know whats caused it... but the liquid fuel engine core (I believe I used the Magnus engine, the one that uses LF and OX) for the OctoSat no longer has a deploy animation... the engine still works (as far as I can tell) but the engine nozzle doesnt extend out of its casing like it did before.
  17. RPM for all. Firespitter for all. Smokescreen for both orbiters. Gimbal for both orbiters. That being said you should probably just install all dependencies just in case.
