  1. KER. Installed Mechjeb once back in 0.19 (IIRC), but didn't like it. I don't need/want the level of automation that MJ gives and I'm not going to switch from KER to MJ just for the info.
  2. @HarvesteR: obrigado, gracias, thank you.
  3. I think is Remotetech related. I had that too. Solved installing latest Remotetech pre-release build .
  4. Happened to me after installing RT. Never before.
  5. Close the science Jr doors (if opened, they get out of the cover of the heatshield). There is an option in the right click menu
  6. Man, I want to play that career.
  7. ^ This. Once we are used to play wiith our own goals and restrictions, they have more sense than career mode. And they fit better to our playstyle. Thats why many of us don't like the career mode. Our self impossed rules have more sense to us.
  8. Mainly sandbox. With RT and USI LS.
  9. ^^ This ^^ . The ability to create and edit new ship categories in the tracking station/map view would complete it.
  10. Given the diagram and explanation (and assuming engines off and brakes released), the vessel would roll forward increasing speed until the exact half leght of the runway. From that point, the runway is going upwards. The vessel would lose speed while on the 2nd half of the runway and would stop before the runway end. I think KSP doesn't handle wheel friction, but drag is handled, so the vessel would stop even before. Your theory explains the roll forward, but not the crash. Nobody is crashing because of this. And I fail to see this as the cause of vessel having trouble landing. If this is the origin of a forward phantom force, it woul be nice to have it solved, but, IMO, solving this should be at the end of the priority list.
  11. I keep one or two KSP installs of every update, from 0.22 to 1.0.5. My KSP folder uses 28GB at the moment. I'm mainly a sandbox player. Every update I start a new save and the ones in 0.23.5 and 0.90 were career mode. I tried career every update, but never liked it. I decided try it again when 0.90 came out, but now it's on hold. IIRC, I was stablishing my comm and supply structure at the joolian system (Remotetech + USILS). I don't play KSP since 1.0 came out. Of course I tried 1.0 to 1.0.5 but I never started a serious save. I got tired of starting again because of gameplay changes.
  12. Game bought: Dec 2012 Forum account created: Dec 2012. Lost because TGFD.
  13. KAC, KER and Precise Node are stock for me. I don't play without them. I usually install Transfer Window Planner and NavBall Docking Alignment Indicator too. Once done with info/nav pluggins, Remotetech paired with one life suport (TAC or USI) mod is my next option. And since ISRU was added, KAS/KIS goes next.
  14. Or, if the matter is changing programers focus for few hours, developing simple and useful features, There are many useful and simple things they could have added (someone should read suggestion forum). As I said before: I would add other features before this one, but can't say I don't like it.
  15. IF (very big IF) It has no significant effect on performance, I'm ok with the feature. It's not useful, but it's visually cool. Compare it to clouds: they wouldn't be useful and many people want them. OTOH, they could add, one year after the resource mining system, fuel transfer pipes for surface fueling operations. And no, I will never use the claw for that. Ramming your ships with the claw to fuel them breaks inmersion.
  16. 10 months after release and the game is still unfinished. Seems like we will never get a proper performance and bugfix update if they keep adding (and delaying) stuff. I like new features, but I expect from a RELEASED game to perform better than alpha builds and I want to keep my save without having to deorbit or modify every satellite or station because some new feature that should have been added before release or not added at all. That's why I don't play KSP since 1.0. Maybe it's cool for people who don't exit Kerbin's SOI, but not for me. I'd like to play my save for a long time, so I won't play KSP until they stop adding new game breaking features and begin to focus on performance. I have more games to play until KSP is finished (if ever).
  17. Probably. I was concerned after reading your previous post. On topic: Player should have the ability to filter or control the contracts offered by body, type, ... If I'm planning a mission to Duna I should be able to ask the system for things to do there, and not get a bunch of surface scan on minmus contracts, even if I did hundreds of them before. IMO, the (bad designed) contract system wont be better with weighted contracts.
  18. Activates the vertical snap for surface attached parts in VAB. If set to true, you can olny surface attach pars at fixed heights. Not sure if it is still working. Las time I tried it was 0.23.5
  19. But still interesting. I read the whole thread (again)
