This crash occurred twice in a row. KSP version: Steam build id = 007052014-12-15_13-42-05 Branch: master mods: none Specs: see sig Description: from SPH, i launched 'space plane x-1'. after i launched, off the end of the runway, the computer reset. First time, just as it hit the water, second time it was over the beach. Step-off at top of ladder. Devs please work on this. we need it now. it need not be that complex. if he reaches another ladder, he continues, if not, he stops, push again and he steps forward onto the top of the extendable ladder. (unlikely to need to step in any other direction). -
don't tell the kids it's educational, but make sure they play it. ksp isn't an EA game. actually considering the difference between EA and Squad, i'm rather disappointed how bad EA's games are. i can't believe they still want me to buy another Need For Speed game after they've burned me so many times before. edit: i didn't realise this thread was 15 pages long

really? after i plant the flag, i pull it down till the next contract.... ...the contract says to plant a flag on the Mun, it doesn't say for how long.

i've had that same issue and same resolution, but it was for an engine. Now when i run a test i immediately look to the contract/message box is flashing

using the ARM claw to retrieve a ship that didn't have chutes or fuel for a safe kerbin landing i rendezvous with a ship with a claw and used that to land both ships. it did work but when i first attached the claw, the ships started to wobble and almost flew apart. turning off SAS or RCS didn't affect it and only got around it by using the 'unlock pivot' function. as soon as it was locked, the wobble would return. I could do this until it got into the atmosphere. I also disabled the torque wheels on one ship, but that didn't help. any ideas why?

Description: Kerbin has an area of low res texture at a particular range build id = 00642 2014-10-07_10-59-44 Branch: master while orbiting Kerbin, i noticed the surface had a circle of different coloured, different quality texture. this was on the closest portion of the planet only and as the camera/craft moved, so did the glitch area (eg rotate, zoom, etc). - - - Updated - - - note: This seems to have disappeared after restarting the game.

I've noticed an issue that components like science lab jr can't survive a chuted drop onto kerbin's water. This happens even with a impact less than 6m/s (a couple of chutes). it seems like it is destroyed by the chute being cut and settling into the water. It's annoying since i've taken all care to return the module, only to have it disappear just before the end of the mission. I've known about the fuel tanks having this issue for some time, and that's annoying too.

We all have times when things go wrong. What tricks have you found to get out of trouble? (we have a thread on fails, but not recoveries). I depleted my fuel supply in low kerbin orbit, so i used the eva jetpack to slow the craft enough to catch the atmosphere. it's lucky it gets refueled each time you get inside the craft, because it took a dozen evas to achieve deorbit.
