  1. is there any way to deactivate control surfaces? i want to build a crewshuttle that launches on top of a rocket and then glides back to KSC. but the launcher is more than unstable with those flapping control surfaces at the top....
  2. i think KWR is pretty balanced (ok, 2 engines are a little better than stock in every way, but most parts have their up and downsides) but i just like the KRW style better than NP. also, NP has too many parts for my taste.. i still like to use some of the stock parts.

  4. 2nd career playthrough with interstellar, b9 and KWR. i think there will be no time for a 3rd playthrough
  5. thats pretty subjective. a ride from one end to the other would take a lot of time in azeroth or skyrim too
  6. i had a significant speed boost. then again.. the upgrade from my old seagate to a samsung 840 pro was pretty big..
  7. i dont think there are any other limiting factors. memory? you said it. graphics? well, ok. you dont need a GTX Titan to run KSP. cpu? single thread performance (clockfrequency) is the thing. a high clocked quad cpu would be better than a low clocked 8 or 12 core. harddisk? a faster ssd would load the game faster.
  8. had some decoupling isses yesterday. i used KWR and Interstellar parts in my craft, but the said decoupler was stock, between zwo stock parts (rockomax x200 - octagonal - small decoupler - octagonal - probe body)
  9. that could be.. ! i am too using ferrams mod since yesterday and had some decoupler issues...
  10. maybe jool is a giant compressed ball of all the dead kerbals we ever killed
  11. eve is big. but mostly empty. minecraft is pretty big, but procedurally generated.
  12. check the fuel pipings. maybe there is something wrong with the fuel drain and the whole thing gets imbalanced.

  15. nice. how bout radial mounted SRBs? are the radial decouplers strong enough with this? or do you still need struts? because when you strut radial mounted things, the decoupler force seems to become zero... and you need to mount sepratons... and there goes the partcount...
  16. is there a way to deactivate waste heat for solar panels? just installed the mod and lost probes... they retracted the panels and went dead. edit: NVM found it!
  17. this would be cool. a button, like X, to accelerate to 100% instantly. why dont we have such a thing stock?
  18. true, there aren't any. but you can make some. (clustered tanks) hmmm.. maybe i'll stick them into the tech node with the mainsails....

  20. there should be a way or a mod to assign actiongroups after launch... this would be awesome. it would make science grinding much easier.
  21. i am fitting a 3 man mission to jool, including SCIENCE! and a laythe lander. right now i am at 180tons ... this will be fun because i haven't mainsails and large docking ports yet....
  22. and because 0.100 follows on 0.99 the game will never be completed
  23. this wouldn't be very kerbal... plus.. probes can be destroyed. but you cannot destroy jeb!
