  1. This makes having missed the opportunity to meet you at gamescom even more sad ... Fly safe! And call home once in a while!
  2. Have you tried running in borderless windowed mode?
  3. @JJE64 @HebaruSan Most likely it was in answer to a forumer suggesting to not use Unity at all and switch to something completely different.
  4. Read without the previous quote - this makes actually more sense now. This. I have no nerves for an increasing number of launchers and store applications. Steam handles most of the authorization processes for my games - most, not all, but it is a start. This does not concern people disappointed in not being able to test the game, this is about people complaining about broken promises (that were never made, not in the way they want them to be understood), indeed those that see it as some kind of unfair "headstart" for Steam users and those proclaiming to be able to see into the future.
  5. @mcirish3 Your first posts were almost completely 'scientific' about this topic, but now you have joined the emotional crowd. First you imply malice regarding salvager's post (see quote below) and here you are implying that Steam users will "parade" around and - what? Make fun of the store users? What about being happy to get the unfiltered opinion from actual players during the development phase? Are you angry with the media group too? Should there be no information outside a tight knit group before the second the update gets released? Please do not make this community akin to the WoW crowd, where even a couple of days between each countries content release would create an uproar of "but than xyz can kill the new bosses first!" - it was utterly childish back then, it is completely uncalled for in a single player game. I think this is all that this topic has become, a question of principle. This is not a broken promise like a "but honey, I only told you there would not be any other WOMEN..." - this is "I did not think our users would see a testing phase not as something different than an actual release". There is a big difference between 'implied' and 'interpreted' after all. At the end of the day all this "tempest" will have done is either the end of future open experimentals once and for all, or the investment of money into third parties that could have gone into development of KSP one way or another. Good job, everyone.
  6. Are you taking yourself serious even? Also, Squad would more than likely let everyone move over to Steam. But you may want to look a bit closer. There is another party involved - Valve. Imagine you have store - as big as it might be - and someone else comes in "Oh, I will just put these packages into your shelves, my customers will come here frequently to pick them up, please make sure they are only taking what is theirs, and clean the shelves so they look nice, and obviously you will not get any money, as they are my customers, my product and they already paid my company for it! Have a nice day!"
  7. The third grape just comes with a few weeks delivery time for some. Good night.
  8. The community is not dead, just some choose to feel that way. Squad is not splitting the community, just some decide to feel singled out. Because of two weeks ... two weeks! I cannot even begin to think of anything to say to this ... well, just this. And I fear if I would come up with the right words to aptly express myself right now, I would gather more infractions than every user before combined. Yes, they would, basic human psychology.
