  1. I have not seen all ENT episodes - neither VOY - I am more a Picard follower. A species being capable of interstellar travel - special case: able of FTL communication - is the condition to make first contact with them, before that it is forbidden to even let them know of other civilizations After that the Prime Directive forbids interference with the natural development of a species - them asking for help is a totally different matter though.

For the remainder of the evening I tried to build a plane, a simple atmospheric plane - with FAR, later without FAR ... not a chance, COL always far back no matter what I did, pitch control almost non-existent, ocean here we come again and again and again ...
  6. I worked myself into orbit with part and weight limitations - yet lots of science mods make it even easier to get places. That way money suddenly becomes the "limiting" factor (building upgrades).

  9. You could also use (after its updated I think) ATG and bind every experiment to a key/button; you can also name them in the ATG window.

  11. SSAS axis controls deactivate seperately under user input, so there is no listing to one side when you are just pitching up/down. This alone would have been worth its own mod and thread!

  13. Thanks Slashy! But I kinda disagree because of the fact the whole discussion revolves about it being an allegedly overpowered 1.25m engine or not? Edit: Ah, wiki has updated! It also has a fantastic 20m/s impact tolerance ...
  14. Purely anecdotal: Had some funny issues yesterday (before patch 1.0.5 b102x+ in the night (here)). The first sounding rocket that hit water would vanish, move the camera first to the bottom of the ocean and than fly away from Kerbin - was still able to return to space center and revert, so no real game breaker. Another one, well above 30km or so during ascent, would start whirling around its center (heightwise) and everything but the UI wobbled really fast until the rocket finally crashed back on Kerbin. After the hotfix I could not see any more problems. Feals funny to still launch fireworks while already being able to build crew capsules though.
