sigh still don get it its not picking up all the textures for example with the mods u have installed its only catching 800 of 1700 textures.

1st there is no shader settings those have to be removed 2nd mod no longer uses radius it uses altitude go back 3 or 4 pages u see a .cfg i posted with astromers kerbin and proots duna,eve and laythe -

u can try to cut out the part in the .cfg that deals with smoke to test it that might work but make sure to make a backup -
probalem im having its not getting all the textures. took out all but the mods from yur ss and it only caught 871 of 1700.

for me its not catching all of them its still missing around 1k of the textures so i still have high ram usage. which file types does this catch

if uw ant to test the distant vessel just try to do a redev but untarget the other vessel once set up the node then watch toward the target and see if u see it once u get so close u should see the moving star of it

the best way for tis mod to do is to try to have where u can say these folders are the ones to do and dont touch ther others type of setup. so say for rt2 folder for example u would say only to touch the parts folder but dont touch the part with the .dll. maybe that would help somehwhat with the mod incompatiblites

u cant use custom packs unless u change them. the setup of the .cfg have changed for themod. read back a few pages -
bah all i wanted was station parts and wind up spending a hour sorting the files to get them all lol. now did that and the montor part is messed up since dont know which ones where just for tug so delteed all lol.

basicaly penginin install all but duna1.tga textures make sure to delte the default .tga. next install proots textures but dont install the kerbin ones and dont override any of astormers. now thats if u gonna use my .cfg i posted the post before as in all these make sure to delte the tga of the same name as the .png of the packs my .cfg uses astomers bump and his settings for kerbin and eve. duna,laythe and eve uses proots textures but also use astomers bump.jpg. make sure to not leave double files game will still load it even if not used so if useing my .cfg u need astomers bump1.jpg and detail1.png for proots im using duna1.png, duna2.png,eve1.png(your choise u can use the default tga one also) jool1.png, joollayers1.png and joollayers2.png using those should leave u with nothing but 1 .jpg and rest willo be png -

kinda combined proot and astomers pack. took a bit but got them to work havent been on layte or duna yet to see how they look on surface they use proots cfg. 0 } speed { x = 2E-05 y = 0 } } } this also might help those who trying to use those packs but cant get it to work. remember this is the usercloud.cfg not the cloudlayers.cfg. had to guess what the altitude 1 setting for laythe, duna and eve where. but this should give u a place to fine tune whatever u want. -
scan sat uses a fratction of the ram mapsat does so its well worth it

he has switched from radius to altitude. shouldnt it be just put the altitude in there? CLOUD_LAYER { body = Laythe altitude = 6000 wouldnt u just put the samed but put ti a little abover and below it? well later today ima play with the old .cfg and see what i can do with it. here what i found so far. if any entry has the shader fronts part of it it wont work thats one thing. max height for clouds for any planet is 22000. and seems to be a bug u cant save your adjustments ingame it resets everything blank also even thou jool has a defualt setting ingame it has no cloud setup -

proot did u get my message the newest version has changed. it doesnt use radius its uses altitude now thats why old packs not working. look in the .cfg and u see the change. i didnt notice it til i was compareing the .cfg and noticed no radius anymore on it. i use a conbination of yours and astromers clouds and besides the first layer i have no idea what ot set the altitude of the others at lol. -

might want to make note that tac also has perma death if using both they probaly conflict so make a note in op if using tac to make sure FF perma death is off. -

hmm just updateing the .dll made it not work have to see whats changed. found it your .cfg for new update have altitude where as the old .cfg use radius ill try to see if just changeing that will make mod work again. btw using astrominers pack so that means all packs right now wont work unless thats changed from radius to altitude. bah cant figure out what the alt for the other layers would be at sigh. -

the cloud mod will use 300or so mb of ram if i remember right. -
ancalagon remove he file(not mod) to somewher else let game fully load then exit and put file back. this dont always work but it does in some instances. if that dont work make sure u not hitting the ram cap and redownload also u possibley have a corrrupt download. btw rbay the volume cloud test clouds.dll and the 6-7 clouds.dll have a nearly 700kb differnt size is it fine to use the .dll for the volume one in place of the 6-7?
