  1. When exactly did it say +0 rep? In the window you get after you recover? That's the reputation you get from recovering, it has nothing to do with the contract you did
  2. According to the orbit info I'm in orbit (apoapsis and orbital period), but according to the projected orbit, I'm not. This is taken directly after aerobreaking with an asteroid, which gave my projected apoaps to be in Gigameters. According to the wiki, Kerbin's SoI ends at 84Mm. So maybe a small error in Mechjeb's database? I don't know where exactly it gets the numbers Blue is less deltaV, red is more deltaV. Get in orbit, target a planet and Mechjeb will calculate all possible trajectorys. The end result is similar to http://alexmoon.github.io/ksp/ , except that with Mechjeb, you can just click and let it make the node. If you mouse over the graph, it will tell you below the deltaV costs, time until depart, and time until arival (or travel time? Can't remember which one, can't look up right now.) On the vertical axis is the travel time It automaticly selects the cheapest transfer within the selected paramaters (you can select a maximum depart time), and pick a comprimise between depart time and deltaV costs. Pick your combination of depart time/travel time, deltaV costs, click on it, and hit create/excecute node. Done (you'll need to finetune the encounter once you're in interplanetery space, like always you can't be perfectly accurate at such distances)
  3. We don't even know how multiplayer is going to look, a little early to suggest things like this for it. Also multiplayer is still on the What not to Suggest list. Please check that list before you post, as suggesting things on it will only get your stuf locked
  4. That's on the What not to suggest list More specific: Orbital construction and construction on other celestials
  5. If you never got any contracts, you got a bug yes. Start a new save usually fixes it. When you start a new game, there should be 4 contracts already. Launch new craft, reach alt record, get to space, and get to orbit The first thing he opened with is that he got no contracts.... So no, his crafts aren't the problem
  6. Eehm, you don't need nearly that much funds to get to the Mun. A few 10k is enough for a full science return mission 180k will last you AGES if you spend it wisely, and that's not even taking into acount the cash you get from contracts
  7. Actually wouldn't it be easier to alt tab between the 2 then to scroll up and down? If you alt tab, the screen is still where you left
  8. Just bring enough fuel to control you speed by flying sideways
  9. Like ants, lots of workers and only a few queens. Only in this case the workers are make/genderless
  10. You are close, but not quite there yet. KSC buildings are the outer structures from the Fungus. You can compare them to mushrooms in our world. The main body of the mushrooms is below the ground. Kerbin's core is indeed the mushroom's main structure, and the Kerbals are basicly spores. KSC is a giant reproduction facility, spreading sprores out into the solar system
  11. That part was resized to .625meter in the current update. Keep up with the times mate. So this suggestion is already solved
  12. If you bring him back it's not exactly a one way trip is it? Anyway, this is basicly what the plant flag on <body> contract is if you don't cheat them with already pressent Kerbals
  13. A small tip for aiming directly at the center of Mass of an asteroid: AFTER you docked with it, unlock pivot on the claw. Now you can turn the ship indipendant from the asteroid. Target the Asteroid's CoM, point directly at it, and lock pivot again. Now you're perfectly lined up
  14. Yea, I was beginning to think it was a myth I'm on the side with the sentient parasites mate
  15. You will need to make more stages if you want to seperate the parachute completely from what it currently is in. Mouse over the stages and you'll see small + and - icons. Click on the + to add a stage
  16. I always like how threads like this basicly have 2 different replys: There's the guys that take it all serious, and use real data. And then there are the guys that tallk about about sentient parasites that animate cacti
  17. So the actual Kerbal is infact only a tiny part of the creature we see?
  18. They are like snails, both male and female at the same time
  19. Yup, navbal is based out of the command part, not the engines. It's pritty easy to work around though, if your engines are pointing backwards, simply point the entire ship backwards and the engines are pointing the right way
