  1. The devs, cause it's "not how they intended for the game to be playd" (end sarcasm) I gues he never playd a game with cheatcodes. hoyohoyo is my personal favorite
  2. Another one: Land while you are in the sun. Makes it much easier to see the terrain, and your shadow is a good indication of how high you are
  3. I'd like some simple cutscenes for the big milestones. First landing on another body would be a good one, first time a Kerbal returns safely, maybe even first crash
  4. It actually costs suprisingly little fuel when you use the windows. I'm going to guess you are not. That should explain everything nicely
  5. I would love for a way to adjust this in the settings. More detailed behavoir of your on rails stuf at the cost of more performance
  6. This isn't some liniar shooter, this is an open world where you can do whatever the crap you want. You clearnly don't see it that way though, so I'm talking to a wall here
  7. Well, I guess we can delete the mod forum than...
  8. Maybe you should try a few landers and dockings before trying a full on station. Space stations are pritty advanced stuf
  9. Right... did you miss the part about running out of fuel and having your kerbals stranded? Maybe you should try reading everything, instead of just the points you want. Me using revert flight and you launching test flights is the EXACT SAME THING And I play career cause I like the progress of the tech tree. You know your kerbals die just as dead if you crash them in sandbox right?
  10. And who would gain ANYTHING from that? Not me. I only lose an option to play my game as I want it I hope not you, cause you should not care about how I play my single player game. If you do, you might wanna see about adjusting your prioritys
  11. Look at your periaps and apoaps. If both are above the atmosphere, you are in a stable orbit
  12. Very well, I'll run KSP during the night while I sleep. O damn, that's broken. FIX IT. Have KSP shut down automaticly if it goes without input for 10 minutes
  13. There is no random failure in KSP. Every part works exactly as discribed, every time you use it. I THINK that means it's been tested very thoroughly. The only flaws are the ones you make, while putting different parts tougether, and steering The revert option is only available during launch. So it only helps to prevent errors in staging. It functions as your test launch if anything goes wrong. It's not going to save you from crashing into a planet, or running out of fuel while trying to come back home. And weither you like it or not, that is it's function. The revert button is your test flight. In a test flight you find errors in staging, inballance, that stuf. If you find anything during your launch, you revert. AKA, it's your test. If everything goes right, you can tell yourself 'test already been done offscreen'. Or you can just revert anyway, if that makes you happy.
  14. I can sit still for hours, but LIE still? That'd suck
  15. Go watch youtube video's, EVERYTHING is explained in there.
  16. I can open the save file in notebook, find the correct line, and give myself 9001 science. Does that make it broken? It adds as much gameplay value as you let it. If you want to timewarp for 20 years to grind science, go ahead. I'll just send some kerbals to other planets instead
  17. That's what revert flight is for. That's your test
  18. Timewarping through science in here is exactly the same as in real life just waiting 3 years for the mars window to come up. Here we just timewarp through the wait cause it's a game. Apart from that: who gives a crap about cheating? It's your own single player game, do with it what you want. Why do you think we have the debug menu available?
  19. And than what? Danger of what? That you become lazy and let the autopilot do it? Manual launches are boring, and mechjeb can do my perform my manouver nodes much better than I can. Why would I struggle with them manually?
  20. In game sub-orbital flights is the easiest thing I can think of. Chute, pod, SRB. Launch SRB, SRB runs out, launch chute. Stop trying to compare KSP to real life. IT's A GAME, NOT A SIMULATOR Now here's a question for you: WHY did humanity start with unmanned tests before manned? I'll give you a hint: It's NOT because unmanned is easier
  21. Watch this vid, it'll explain everything step by step @Godot Mechjeb is the best teacher after Scott Manley. Just set autopilot to land a few times, and THAN try it yourself. Works way better than the other way around
