  1. Alright, so Orange is out of the question. Thanks for the Info. Great, now what? I really can't think of any other color besides purple, but Eve exists.
  2. Reddish yellowish is certainly the best option right now, but I'd rather see other suggestions that pop up first before making that decision.
  3. That's for sure. One little file called atmo.png that's a huge white space can turn any planet into something special.
  4. Seeing as there's no way i know of to actually add an atmosphere to them, That's what I had planned. I'll look around the web for some pics of what Eeloo and Pluto look like from the surface, and try to replicate that.
  5. Exactly, I could go with purple, but that's kinda Eve's job. I'm trying to think of other possible colors. Any ideas?
  6. Probably gonna head to bed soon, and since 90% of my responses come from 5AM - 12PM GMT-5, I'll go ahead and ask these now. Laythe - Would you guys like to see a titan-esque Laythe? With a cloud layer almost completely covering the planet[land could still be seen, so you won't need scansat to land on laythe], once you pass that layer it will be very hazy, and a visible blue horizon from orbit? I'm still thinking of what color the layer should be, so if you guys are down with this idea, I would like if you suggested a color.(I dunno about orange, because titan is already orange and that would seem a tiny bit un-original, but if you guys would be okay with orange that could work very well) Ike - I really don't know about Ike, should it reflect sunlight like the Mun does? While the game or the wiki doesn't seem to say if Ike and the Mun are made of the same materials, they look like they share the same materials. Either that or my eyes need serious fixing. Maybe lighter reflection, maybe more noticeable reflection, maybe none at all, whichever, I would like your opinion on it. Eeloo/Vall - So I've been reading up, and both Pluto and Europa have a thin atmospheres. Being that Vall is an analogue for Europa, and Eeloo being an analogue for Pluto, should either Vall or Eeloo get an atmosphere, or should they both? Or would you rather no changes to them? Any thoughts on this? If you have any ideas for other planets, do tell. I'm all up for new ideas. I plan V4 will be the full-ish release of it, getting its own add-on releases thread. It will still be worked on, and you can suggest ideas on the dev page, but it will mostly be done until new editing tools arise for me to mess around even more. v4 should hopefully have atmospheres on the ground changed, so give some ideas for that if you can. In the meantime, enjoy V3 and give some good feedback about what's already there
  7. Just sent you a PM of the current problem I'm having.
  8. Yeah, BA needs a config for RSS too. I'll begin work on that soon. Probably tomorrow.
  9. Maybe you could make some kind of combination of the two when proot releases his pack? I'll be downloading his for the rings, and some of the custom clouds, and all that stuff, but keep my Atmosphere settings.
  10. You might be running out of memory, you have a lot of mods?
  11. Hm, will take it down for now. It doesn't seem to want to accept the zip.
  12. tbh with you, I have no idea what to change in the config file to make it stay that way. I'm not the kinda guy who would know that.
  13. 1)Yes, it's updated for the new EVE 7-2. 2)I'd recommend using mine because it's made for this, but it's perfectly possible to edit Endraxiel's Mun texture to work with the glow.
  14. I really can't wait for this mod, been wanting proper crawlers for a long time
  15. It darkens the Mun texture to help the crater appear like they do IRL. It isn't necessary, but doesn't look good without it.
  16. Version 3 has been released! V3 - Kerbin - Darker Blue Atmosphere around Kerbin. Shading under Volumetrics, and shadows. Mun - Crisp Mun with a much more realistic glow. Eve - Dark Purple clouds, with more noticeable atmosphere.(OPTIONAL CONFIG FOR LIGHTER CLOUD COLOR) Duna - Blue horizon seen from orbit, and blueish surise and sunset. Clouds now have shadows on Duna. Jool - White and green clouds mixed and balanced better. Atmosphere is a little more noticable(Especially from LJO) Laythe - New cloud texture for added variety. Shading, and shadows are added too. Atmosphere is more noticeable. Fixed saving issues
  17. One last test of everything, and then the pack will be available.
  18. This has been fixed, other than the default atmosphere, which looks a little blocky. TR is used for the Mun to help with the craters. Nothing else is used for now.
  19. Hm, I'll check it and see if there's any tweaks i can make to fix whatever is causing that before release.
  20. Little trivia, that pic of Duna was taken with Dust storms on! Yes, it will use a separate cfg. Simply rename the dust storms cloudLayers.cfg to some like "cloudLayers-Dunaduststorm".
  21. Alright, So still trying to figure out RSS. Even then the changes i make aren't very drastic to warrant delaying the update for them. So i think later today I'll release V3. Here's what to expect -
  22. Hm, I'll install astro's pack, and see if i have this problem.
  23. Hm? Oh, for V3? I got rid of the big glow and make it more crisp. That's in V3 though, not currently released.
  24. Thanks for the info! This is fixed in the new version, as EVE 7-2 fixes the saving bug. Not at all for me. You can set the fadedist in the alt+n menu. This however does not save properly in V2. It will in V3.
