  1. Alright, Duna's makeover is turning out nicely. I've gotten an effect where Duna looks like Mars does at noon - But then at sunrise/sunset it looks like this - All that's left is to actually figure out how i keep atmosphere color changes in RSS. I'll post ingame pics tomorrow, I have to get some sleep. I'm going to go crazy if i don't He'll probably implement some feature like that sometime, but for now, RSS. No resized or replaced planets though. Just atmosphere color changes.
  2. If i can figure out how to use RSS to change atmosphere colors, then yes. I've gotten down how to change them, but now i need to figure out what in the .cfg I change to get it to stay that way.
  3. Of course I will! I was probably gonna do that anyway Though, I will release V3 first and then soon after that work on RSS settings. Thanks so much for letting me use part of your mod for my pack. <3
  4. I've tried the RSS, but it doesn't seem to want to save any changes I make. I don't even know if I'm doing the right thing, but it seems to be changing the atmosphere color. I'll use this if you would be kind enough to let me(I will only use the ability to change atmo colors and will completely credit you and anybody you need me to credit.), If i can figure how to work this thing, this will be a huge step forward in Atmosphere technology. Something like this would be very useful indeed. I can't release the whole pack until Duna is done silly willy
  5. Alright, I guess Duna is next. Here's the first simple attempt - (Yes, I just realized that the alpha channel for the clouds is too high. Fixing now)
  6. Laythe, forcing cloud layers since 7-2. EDIT: Oh, kay. Now i understand what the problem was.
  7. Full album of new and hopefully final Mun. I think either way I'm taking a break. Going a bit crazy.
  8. Okay....... After all this work, I managed. There's still a small flicker, but barely noticeable and is only seen from a super zoom at the Mun, and even then you have to look out for it to see it. How's this you guys?
  9. I'm mixed about this. Although the darkness of the craters is better, the flicker is turning me off. What do you guys think? Would the previous version be better or this one?
  10. Only problem with that idea is it doesn't really "morph" into the ground pleasantly. I can probably make it work, thanks for the idea That Laythe looks amazing btw.
  11. That actually just happened. I believe it has to do with the atmosphere layer, making it much darker on the dark side.
  12. This still too white or too green? I really am trying hard to make it glow and have the craters clearly visible. I think this is something Squad will have to implement themselves to get perfect. Here's what i got now.
  13. Don't worry, this is getting fixed. In the mean time, make sure you changed both Scaled and Regular settings to "Fadedist: 100". The new EVE let's me save these fade dist settings and such.
  14. Only thing I ask for now, is the ability to move layers around in the ALT+N menu. It can be a small pain to remove and re add layers simply to move them around. It's not a huge problem, but would a nice thing to add in a future release. Love your mod rbray, you're the best!
  15. Alright you guys, took a long nap after no sleep last night from working on this pack, and did some editing after waking up. I would specifically like some Jool/Mun feedback. Those are the two I've been working on.
  16. Okay, can i just say that this update is positively fabulous? Seriously though, thanks so much. This makes my life so much easier
  17. I've created a thread for BA, go here for any discussion/suggestion/downloading of the pack.
  18. Welcome to the Better Atmospheres Development thread. This page will be fixed up soon, but for now the foundation will be laid down. Post any bugs, or development suggestions here. Updates and the like will be posted here, but no releases will be posted here.
