  1. I build space stations and space station accessories. (also normal ships with an ASYMMETRICAL LAYOUT WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT)
  2. I have a small bug report. Yeah, sometimes during launch, the LRB's fly away gracefully when I press spacebar. And sometimes they don't, which is odd. I don't want to add a whackjob of struts to it
  3. It looks nice and is apparently functional. That makes it a good rocket indeed. Well done!
  4. My internet is so bad it failed to download 1 megabyte (this)
  5. Can we just get a little hotfix for the update because it takes absolutely forever for it to download the main file for me.
  6. First flight with this to dock with my 120k not-equatorial station. Result: 1 Kerbal stuck in the shuttle that is void of monopropellant and fuel because the only hitchhiker on the station was full of Kerbals and a little construction pod thing drifting in space because the only other docking port left was on the senior universal docking port that apparently needs part clipping to work (who knew.) But this thing flies awesome.
  7. I like Melvin and Jeb. It would be great if I could have theoretical Kerbal Space Marines do theoretical space missions to the theoretical Mun base. But of course, that's all in theory.
  8. So I spent an hour downloading this and then if finishes and then says that the folder is invalid. Doesn't even save the rest of it so I can start from before it decided to break the download. Edit: Apparently steam drains the interwebs in the background.
  9. Cool ladder john. I think I'll make something like that.
  10. I'm gonna store 2 of mah fav kerbs in my DSMTD module (I'm gonna call it the Frontier module.)
  11. May I suggest an inflatable airlock ring type of thing? I read (on wikipedia) that Voskhod had an inflatable airlock.
  12. I think L-tech science is good, though I've never used it. I don't have a link for it unfortunately.
  13. I think I'll add a DSM Training and Dispatchment module (Deep space mission.) Basically it will be a hitchhiker and science thing with a Senior Universal Docking Port (A big docking port clipped with a medium docking port) and shielded thingy stuff.
  14. Now you need to go Mundune hopping for SCIENCE! and giggles. I'm totally digging this, yo.
  15. The best case scenario: We get to chase little space squid things for science. Worst case scenario: Little space squid things are actually mini Krakens.
  16. I'm looking forward to this. I like the smooth white textures. It reminds me of Orion.
  17. 2cool2readalldahcomments I think I know how to deal with the part where you are not on solid ground; Bring a bunch of guys that love star wars. Also you could probably just stick really big balloons on really big sticks that go deeper into the atmosphere in a hexagon formation so that the city is stable and have another hexabloon formation that rises above the city to add stability.
  18. I think Isaac Newton would rise out of his grave and take a sledge hammer to beat the crap out of a contraption like this. It sounds like you stand on a table and lift the table to accelerate.
  19. The way science stands right now is more like money. You do science, Kerbalversities give you funding because you learn stuff. You use the money to pay the engineers to research the stuff. But I still hate the way it works. It needs more of a thing where you have actually go where no Kerbal has gone before (in the beginning, upper atmosphere) instead of driving around Kerbin and getting the points. Maybe once contracts are implemented it could get better. But right now I'm sticking with Better Than Starting Manned. I guess one way to fix science is to make it so that it's more like a research thing in RTS's combined with the mystery of actual research. Such as "Guys. The solid rocket booster thing is working out but we accidentally shoot our stuff way off target. Can you guys find a way to control the fuel flow or something?" or "Wernher, can you get your team to develop a bigger capsule, because stacking the mk1's is not that efficient." Not the same, of course. But it could be some type of mystery button. Once Wernher has finished researching throttle control you go to the science center and choose something you really need "Hmm, I need some stabilizing stuff" and they would research it. But the twist is that depending on your science level, they can just give you controllable winglets because you didn't do any space research on existing technologies (AKA doing a crew report on maneuverability) Anyways. That's my ramble. Also here is an obligatory "just play sandbox, k"
  20. Count me in. Maybe I'll add a minitug with junior docking area.
  21. A full partnership might be lots to ask but if KSP could have "9 out of 10 JPL employees agree; KSP is a good game" stamp on it it would probably get lots of publicity.
