  1. We'd be jerks. Not out of any inter-species drama or anything. Humans are just jerks in general. Less fatalistically, I'd like to think after the initial hubbub we'd settle down and get back to normal. I mean, I'm assuming these other creatures are relatable in some way, like they also like ice cream or think sunsets are pretty.
  2. I googled him because I'd never heard of him. Oh, he's one of those guys who makes videos with SEO titles. No thanks.
  3. There, I just updated my Location to make it explicitly clear that I am NOT on the Star Theory team.
  4. I deny this as well! I am not suspicious at all! You gotta admit they're an outlier. In pretty much every single way. For the better.
  5. I don't know about them but I steadfastly deny any affiliation with Star Theory.
  6. When Starbucks first got popular I remember thinking their name implied space money.
  7. Yeah they go through and batch update things after a release. Either they're late or forgot
  8. One packet of ketchup isn't enough for anything. I need at least 3 for a small fry. Though for chicken... ...I have to second this.
  9. There are 2 insulated coffee holders at work, each holds a pot. Someone put a label "Caramel coffee" on one of them. I put a label "Actual coffee" on the other.
  10. It's not that they're low, it's that the sepratron is high. I've not used them except in testing but they seem fine. You're not going to use them to lift a Falcon Heavy off the ground but for tiny craft they perform as I'd expect.
  11. Short answer: We don't know. We won't and really can't until it comes out. However my guess is that no mod will work without at LEAST a tweak or two. Most every single mod out there relies on the KSP API (or at least data in KSP that's stored in a specific way) and there is almost no reason to believe any of that will be the same for KSP2. But as I said, there's no real way to KNOW until the game comes out.
  12. I don't think the game even draws them. Do you have Distant Object Enhancement installed?
  13. Just eyeballing Moho and Eve in your system map, they do look to be pretty much were those dots are.
  14. Amusingly, I tend to find myself being annoyed that the contracts are holding me back from what I want to do. I'm ready for Duna, why do I have to do a frickin' Minmus spacewalk first? (Note disclaimer you don't have to do any of these things you can do what you want and ignore the contracts. But still...)
  15. I would assume the Unity upgrade. Maybe they had things in there disabling this stuff and now they're gone. Or the new Unity checks more stuff than the old one did. Or both.
  16. Wat? Where are you buying content for Rimworld? I feel like someone is illegally selling mods or something.
  17. If RSS doesn't have Venus rotating backward then either they're not trying hard enough or you can't do it.
  18. All I care about is I never want to have to click anything ever again to gain science, or any points. I don't have to click the solar panels to collect power I shouldn't have to click the thermometer to take a reading.
  19. It would be far better to send plausible yet incorrect data. "Lie about your income, your age, gender, and race. Spell your name incorrectly, so it's harder to trace." "Lie about your favorite drink, your viewing habits and the color of your sink. Make up a phone number, make up a postal code, if we all lie together the computer might explode!"
  20. No, they both would need to spin the same way they rotate. Either both would need to spin clockwise or both would need to spin counter-clockwise. Axial Tilt is confirmed, so unless they really screw something up, you can set your planets' axes to be upside down, and therefore achieve "reverse" spin.
  21. TWR sounds too high, as I said you want it 1.3-1.6 at launch. Also the Mainsail is heavy so it pulls your COM back. Essentially you're trying to shoot an arrow with the feathers at the front, twice as fast as arrows normally fly. Of course it's gonna flip around.
  22. As much as humanly kerbally possible. Fairings should always just fit around what you're carrying, and come to a point at the top (not sure if that is modeled but hey just in case) You don't show your launchpad TWR but I bet it's high, like over 2. You really want to not start higher than 1.6 and I personally prefer 1.3. You shouldn't fix it by throttling down, you should fix it by not bringing so much boom to the party Replacing the solids with fuel is a good idea, but make sure you don't go in the other direction and have too low a TWR. If it's below 1 you won't even launch at all.
  23. Who promised you that and do you still have a link? Because I was never promised that nor have I ever seen them mention it.
  24. To start, smarts had nothing to do with it, the Europeans were more technologically advanced, a very different thing. So you're wondering what it would be like if Columbus landed on the shores of an America that was essentially today's America, but populated fully by Native Americans with an Internet and massive cities and coast-to-coast one-day shipping of kitty litter for free and all that? Well for one I'd be very curious why those people hadn't invented ocean travel, air travel, or space travel yet. But assuming they for some reason hadn't they would probably very quickly get at least ocean travel, and their advanced population size plus technological capabilities would cause them to become the supreme superpower of Earth. No clue on what would happen after that but Europeans would have to be HORRENDOUSLY STUPID to try to go to war with them.
