  1. You lucky.... I live in England. I did go on holiday to Florida once and actually my parents said that they felt a shuttle launch and saw smoke in the sky, they thought it was and earth quake at first! I looked it up for the time we were there and apparently it was STS-123
  2. Yeah I use it and its amazing. However if you have a ship with most of the parts on it dosent really help as it loads all their textures and crashes.
  3. It has 3 fuel cells, if it loses one it can still land safely but they have to cut the mission short in case they lose another one. Look up when this happened on STS-2
  4. Hmm I don't think I will update this time. I'm still not finished with my current save and .90 will not add much for me.
  5. I don't really see why you would want to do this? Perhaps you could just make a movie about a shuttle launch or something? You could use the CSS mod, theres a link in my sig.
  6. Ubuntu is not using it as I have installed ubuntu on my main hard drive (sadly) If I try to manually change the permissions it doesn't let me
  7. If you looked at my other thread you will know that I dual booted windows and ubuntu onto my PC which basically broke windows. I did it by booting from a USB stick. However now the USB is "protected" or locked and I cant delete the ubuntu files from it. Any ideas? Also please make it quite simple. I can copy and past stuff into the console but that's about it. I googled it but just got confused when people said stuff about "mounting" the USB stick....?
  8. You could just make a separate config for the smoke for people who want the smoke
  9. Never mind, ill just reinstall windows. Its taught me a VERY VERY good lesson though

    Ubuntu

Now I have two hard drives for my computer, one was being used by windows and the other was mostly empty. I decided to put Ubuntu on the spare one (well my friend did it actually (not that im blaming him I did some of it as well)). Now Windows is displaying the "Boot MGR missing" error.... So now until I can get my computer fixed I'm stuck with using Ubuntu. It runs KSP at about 3FPS, dosen't run TF2 or minecraft or in fact any game I have bothered to try on Ubuntu. I'm now faced with reinstalling windows and basically starting my computer from scratch. The only upside is that I can backup all my files though Ubuntu onto an external hard drive...
  11. [bad computer user]Might try this out when windows finds the BootMGR on my hard drive...[/bad computer user]
  12. Ok so I installed Ubuntu but after reinstalling KSP with steam and then taking the GameData folder from windows to ubuntu I get extreme lag. Even reducing the graphics dosent help at all. This comes up when I start steam? OpenGL GLX context is not using direct rendering, which may cause performance problems. 13. Hmm I could try it to 3.10 GHZ I dont know how to see the current temperature (if you even can) so i dont know if it will be safe
  14. Cool just in time for .90 (though I probably wont update as im still attached to my current save)
  15. I have a quad core I5 at 3.00 GHZ What is the maximum I can (safely) overclock it and how can I do it??
  16. Im sure its all been debunked when LADEE took photos of the lander stage on the moon
