  1. For me? Easier than Pie. (I can't make Pie. ) I can dock reasonably well/efficiently.
  2. I completely disagree with that right there. For one, your Age Groups are biased and have no real meaning, as a seven year old could easily fit into your mature players and a 20-30 year old could be classified as a junior player. Just Sayin'. Two: I would say everyone and anyone. It's an open game with no stated demographic, (Although the steep learning curve makes thing a lot harder for some) and many of the features could be applied to pretty much anything. Also, 15 year old modder and decently capable pilot/designer reporting in.
  3. I think you should make or use a proper space shuttle for the rest of the station. I am suggesting this because the CSS just got updated. What do you think?
  4. Lol. And no problem, I just had a look, and it would have cost ~$4000 for me.
  5. Wow. I'm guessing dual monitors? (Although, I think I have you beat even if you had triple. My monitor is ~42 Inch TV Screen.) Is Cinema 4D Free? I don't have a job (15), so I can't afford to spend that much. Most of what I have done is in blender and Paint.net, with some Gimp in there too.
  6. Oh no. The collision meshes don't intersect at all. The actual collider on the Volkom Lower Stage is a simple cylinder, about 30 cm shorter than it should be. The Radial mounts on the side don't actually have a collider. That does offer a simple way to fix wobble though. I found that you can just put a few hidden struts inside the "Nosecone Mounts", and attatch them to the engines. Also, the stuff you are producing is really amazing. Where did you learn to model like that, and in what program?
  7. Uh. No, the engines are still wobbly. I have changed many a config, and I have concluded that it is problem with the stock parts, not my own. Thanks BTW. I want to make a few panels, but most of them will probably end up in DC Aerospace, not this mod. The largest will probably be about double the size of a gigantor, but that's because it is meant to be the main power source for the Capricorn, which will be ~3.75m wide, and carry about 10 kerbals in style and luxury (what counts for it anyway) to laythe or duna.
  8. Hi there. Been working on a panel for an ATV, and an ATV. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbCy7_vf4dA The Ceres ATV will be for station resupply, like the RL Cygnus. It will have a dedicated 5 way RCS port and a Docking Ring, and have inbuilt Fuel, Engines, Monoprop, and quite possibly Life support (For resupply. It will be unmanned.).
  9. Hi People. Been working on a solar panel which might find it's way into here or the Defcon Pack, depending on what happens with the Capricorn. Here is a preview of the animation and panel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbCy7_vf4dA
  10. O.O ... I MUST HAZ DOZE WINGZ! OMG. Those are jaw-dropping-at-the-speed-of-light amazing! Seriously, I can't wait to play around with them!
  11. Nope. I don't use FAR. When I was having issues with MJ's Spaceplane guidance, I tried it with several of my own designs, and with all of the stock planes. None of them even made it to the runway. I flew them manually around to the back of the KSC, then activated MJ, turned on spaceplane guidance, and every single on crashed. Many a Kerbal died that day. I was about 1Km up, and about 5Km from the runway. I like MJ, but it's spaceplane guidance sucks in my experience. Also, yeah, that's exactly what was happening. It just kept pitching down, and tried to pull up from a 30 degree dive at over 100m/s about 10m from the ground. That was the most common one. I haven't used it since.
  12. Floor 59. I don't think Destiny can fit in here. Huh. I stand corrected. This elevator is either the tardis, or I am drunk.
  13. Granted. It now orbits about 5km above kerbin's atmosphere. I wish there was a cure for everything.
  14. Ceres? Silph? Wisp? Phantom? Anyone seen Zekes recently?
  15. Granted, but they are all several lightyears away, and floating point errors destroy anything you try to send to them. I wish for the SLS not to be a waste of NASA's budget.
  16. 8/10 A few quotes. A couple of funny ones too.
  17. Oh. Um you appear to have no idea what you're talking about. That has nothing to do with SQUAD you know. The reason KSP isn't 64bit is because the UNITY devs (You know, not squad, the guys who make the game engine that KSP uses.) haven't been able to make a stable 64bit version for Windows/OSX, right? (And before you do, don't even think of suggesting a switch in game engines. That's basically saying (In fact, no, that IS saying) "Hey SQUAD, how's about you throw away over three years of hard work and switch to this game engine?")
  18. Well whadaya know! I'm an expert in at least one person's books! As a more on topic note: I would say probably around the same, considering I myself haven't even landed on everything yet. (Simply because I keep getting drawn to the stuff that's really far away or has an atmosphere, so mostly laythe, eve, kerbin and duna.)
  19. Space plane guidance is there, and it has a landing function, but MJ can't handle spaceplanes. Simple as that really. The spaceplane guidance can keep a plane in the air, but you've got NO chance, whatsoever, of making it down in one piece using the spaceplane guidance function. I will amend my original statement to this: It can land them, if you count landing as hitting the ground at very significant speeds, and having the plane be utterly destroyed.
  20. No. MJ only does Autoland for Apollo style landers. (Vertical descent)
  21. Oh. No that's known with the arms. They are really buggy and have a habit of ripping everything to shreds. Look around in the KSOS thread if you don't believe me, the last few pages are covered with people trying to solve it.
  22. Well, The highest point on minmus is about 5.4Km up, so you could possibly manage it at that altitiude, whereas mun's highest point is about 7Km up, on a mountainous area near the equator. That said, I routinely put things into orbit at ~6Km over minmus, and 10Km over mun, So I know that those altitudes are perfectly safe, over the equator at least.
  23. Well. I did it. With under 7.3Km/s of DV from kerbin's surface, and got a low flyby over eve. It was essentially, get to orbit, transfer, plane change, low pass and burn at peri, and then another slight plane change/prograde burn to intercept kerbin with a 15km peri. (Meanwhile I was still halfway between eve and kerbin.) Also, total flight time was about 120 days, so I could have probably managed to tag on another kerbal or two, or given myself a bit more DV leeway. Funnily enough, if I had done an extra 100m/s of burn at eve peri, I would have had a suborbital jool encounter. Talk about dumb luck. (It was about 2 years away however, so I looked at it laughed, and said, how's about no.) Jeb pack your bags, were going on a trip. *where to?* Everywhere. (I have never been to dres, ike, bop or pol, and I have only ever landed on duna, eve, jool(?), gilly, mun/minmus (They go without saying really.) eeloo and laythe. I find it funny actually, many people complain about ike and how it's always in the way. I almost never encounter it. I'm either lucky, or Ike likes my kerbals.)
