Comprehensive Mod Compatibility List for KSP 1.0
Stone Blue replied to Master Tao's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Seems to be working for me (and several others), but may have compatibility issue with CKAN? Blizzy's Toolbar: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/60863 These seem to be working: Enhanced NavBall: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/50524 GC Monitor: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/92907 However, small inconvenience with stock toolbar button not toggling properly after the first time you add it to the bar with the "Display Launcher Icon" item... Seems to be working flawless for me in 1.0...

[1.12.x] KSP Alternate Resource Panel v2.11.0.0 (April 10)
Stone Blue replied to TriggerAu's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
In 1.0, there is no toolbar button showing for this mod...Neither stock OR Blizzy's ToolBar... ??? EDIT: Went into the .cfg and changed UseBlizzyToolbarIfAvailable = False, to TRUE...That got it, so I could get the window open with B's TB, then go into settings and toggle the stock button...Basic functionality seems to work in 1.0...Assuming the numbers are reporting correctly, though... The EC Time Remaining seems to not be very helpful by cycling up and down so vastly, and quickly, also...???? Pleeze make sure to post up on the Compatability thread once you're sure all your awesome mods are working, TriggerAu... Thanx for the sweet mods.. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/116916-Comprehensive-Mod-Compatibility-List-for-KSP-1-0 -
With Exception Detector installed, Fusebox throws several exceptions, and the displays are incorrect, when you filter out "Clamps", in flight, at least. Also, in the Tracking Station, it also throw exceptions when selecting / deselecting a ship, then clicking in the map view part of the Tracking Station screen. Also, not sure if its many stock parts not using EC when they should be, or if Fusebox is not properly reporting usage. Flying the stock Learstar in orbit, with a Comm 16, and both orbital scanners running, and cockpit, cabin and landing gear lights on, as well as SAS, only 0.03 drainage is showing (JUST from the lights)... Post up whether the specific info from Exception Detector would be enough to help troubleshoot, or if you would want full logs, and I can see what I can post, and maybe give more detail about weird happenings I'm seeing...

Kerbal Stuff, an open-source Space Port replacement
Stone Blue replied to SirCmpwn's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Details pleeze?... Seems I have the same issue...There must have been an update to one (or more) of the blockers I'm using, cuz it USED to work for me a couple months ago... And SirCmpwn, i wish I wasnt FLAT broke right now, cuz I'd throw you enough for at least a 6 pack of your choice...lol -
Kerbal Stuff, an open-source Space Port replacement
Stone Blue replied to SirCmpwn's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Hmmm...Going by URLs, there's https://kerbalstuff.com/mod/653 Either way, thats AWESOME!... I for one like KerbalStuff much better than Curse...Though it seems to mostly be the better (to me), interface of KS, rather than any functional issues with Curse... -
Could we get a mod compatibility sticky?
Stone Blue replied to jab136's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions

Orbital Periods/Syncronous Orbits
Stone Blue replied to StahnAileron's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I can't use this method, because my commsats always end up too big, and cant easily be stacked into one launch...lol I HAVE tried it while trying to build a 24 sat GPS constellation, but couldnt get it to work then either, due to multiple launches... -
^^ REALLY???... I use VOID over KER and the MJ GUIs....I never realised that about VOID... ... 'course I dont data log, either...

The Linux Thread!
Stone Blue replied to sal_vager's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Well, after spending half a day messing with Kubuntu desktop, and not getting any further, figured I give Lubuntu a try...Now after two solid days of messing with THAT mess, I still cant even figure out how to even open KSP in Linux...So I think I'm done...Windows OS it is... -
Should NASA return to the Moon instead of doing ARM?
Stone Blue replied to FishInferno's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Sorry...you seem to be totally missing my point... -
Theres Graphotron 2000, with an unofficial (relatively) new version: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/38319-0-21-x-Graphotron-2000/page7 And I'm pretty sure you can use kOS for data logging as well, but its user intensive to set it up: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/68089-0-90-kOS-Scriptable-Autopilot-System-v0-17-0-2015-4-18

Should NASA return to the Moon instead of doing ARM?
Stone Blue replied to FishInferno's topic in Science & Spaceflight
^^ OK...but he ended up discovering a whole new, resource-bonanza in the New World that was much easier to get to and worth more in the long run.... -
Deleting unused parts???
Stone Blue replied to Seaview123's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
KSP ModAdmin, and possibly TinkerTime can be helpful in deleting specific parts from mods. When deleting parts, you just have to be careful that the models and textures arent also used by parts you will be keeping. A good example are there are several mods that reuse the stock (Squad) models/textures, so you have to be careful deleting unused Squad parts... KSP ModAdmin http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/26031 TinkerTime https://kerbalstuff.com/mod/243/Tinker%20Time I'm not sure if CKAN is helpful this way or not? -
Should NASA return to the Moon instead of doing ARM?
Stone Blue replied to FishInferno's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I think Mars should definately be pushed back, and Moon operations slightly over ARM.... The rest of the world is aiming for the Moon, and as far as science and ecomics go, we are going to get left in the dust... I kind of see it as if the Moon were the "New World", and Mars as Antarctica...What if Columbus had gone for Antarctica instead of the New World? -

The ships just wont load in the editor...In the list where you load them, it will say that they have missing parts, and if you click to load it, it just wont do anything... Its best to load the ships in the editor BEFORE deleteing part mods, and pull any non-stock parts off the ships. Easy to do with external parts, but critical assemblies (ie fuselages/fuel tanks/crewed modules/etc) will have to be switched with something stock, and if you cant do that, then yeah, your ships will pretty much be worthless without the mod(s) installed. - - - Updated - - - Problem with this, is new releases of KSP seem to come quickly, every 3 or 4 months... ...lol

The Linux Thread!
Stone Blue replied to sal_vager's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Yeah...There is a caveat with different Windows installs...I think when installing multiple instances of the SAME Win OS, no issue...But with DIFFERENT Win OS, IIRC, you are supposed to install the oldest version first, working on up to the newest...(ie XP first, then Vista, then Win7, then Win8...)...I dont think this is a problem when installing Linux (or any non-Windows OS), with any version of Windows already installed. You mean a single INTERNAL hard drive?...Yes...The only limits to that are space requirements for each OS, and IIRC, you are limited to three(?) primary boot partitions?...Its been awhile since I've dealt with more than 3 OS installs...
