Thanks for the download link. All of the parts are great but the small rover bay is great, it is just the right size to fit a small science rover inside and looks good with the new command pod. I feel like the larger version is a bit too big but I suppose it would be useful for slightly larger rovers. I am looking forward to seeing what other parts you can come up with. -
Thanks for all of the help but unfortunately when I tried to alter that fuel line I just made things worse. Is there any chance that you could give me a fixed version?

I don't think its a mod. In the ship editor right click the lights and adjust the colour sliders until you get the colour you want.

Thanks for the help. The craft now detaches with much more fuel in the tanks but the right hand Oscar B fuel tanks still end up being drained of fuel. (Weird considering the fuel lines are all symmetrical)

I have been attempting to make a replica of a space shuttle that was never built but the fuel is not flowing properly. I am attempting to use the unmanned ship as a powered fuel tank meaning as both ships engines fire the manned ship expends no fuel but it is not working like this. It is similar to asparagus staging but instead of this the manned ship separates with almost no fuel left. Can anyone help me get the fuel lines to work properly? Space shuttle version II It appears to have the delta V but I have yet to be able to get into orbit. -

I finally managed to get an SSTO into orbit in the 1.02 update but it only had 557m/s of delta V once in orbit and I have seen smaller SSTO's get similar performance so I was wondering what kind of assent profile I should use. ssTMy current assent profile is get up to 10,000m at 25 degrees then pitch down to 10 degrees and gain speed. Once I stop gaining speed I pitch up to 25 degress and go closed cycle on the rapiers, I then get into orbit as normal. Here is my version of a delta V map for 1.05 In order to use this map you add up all of the numbers between you and your destination e.g. to get to Duna from low Kerbin orbit will take 950+ 110+ 370= 1430 m/s of Delta V The map is only an approximation and you can make do with less Delta V but I would recommend having more than the chart suggests. I did not do the calculations for that I used two different charts: One chart was made back in 2013 by @SkyRender and was used for most of the in orbit values. The other chart was @Kowgan who credited the following in his thread: @JellyCubes WAC, CuriousMetaphor, @swashlebucky and AlexMooon. This chart was used for the in atmosphere numbers. I hope you find this useful.

Help minimising delta V to orbit

Thanks for the help, with the tips I managed to get into orbit with just 3,315 m/s of delta V. -
With the new aero update I have been finding it difficult to get to orbit without using about 4300m/s of delta V but I know it should be possible to get to orbit with about 3300m/s of delta V so I think I need some advice. I have been practising with simple two stage rockets but I can't seem to improve how much delta V I require to get to orbit. My current assent profile is to pitch over to about 5 degrees at takeoff and by about 10,000m aim to be at a 45 degree angle, after this I will keep pitching over and when my aposapse is about 60,000m aim to be at about 5 degrees. How could I change my assent profile? I have also heard that my TWR should be about 2 for the first stage, is this correct. Also sometimes at about 10,000m my rocket will flip to stop this should I be more gentle on the controls (the rocket does have 4 small non- controllable fins)? Sorry if these questions are a bit simple and thanks for the help

Now that I have finished my exams I can now upload my collection of small Babylon 5 ships they are all stock but I would recommend using hyperedit and infinite fuel to use them. There are 5 craft from each of the major races in Babylon 5. Starfury This is one of my favourite craft and has the same engine configuration as the real thing. It has an abort system for extra safety. All of the action groups are explained in the craft and it is only for use in space. Make sure to select control from here on the probe core so that the nav ball will work. Craft file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5s8lpu8ofxrg1x2/B5%20Starfury.craft?dl=0 Starfury Thunderbolt This is the first Babylon 5 craft that I made and I think it is probably the worst. It does fly in the atmosphere but if you get too far off you velocity vector it will probably crash. It should be flown with RCS on otherwise it will crash, all of the action groups are explained in the craft Craft file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8b8mty972ca3imz/B5%20Starfury%20Thunderbolt.craft?dl=0 Centari Fighter This craft is designed to be used in space and in the atmosphere but it is considerably better when used in space as if you pitch up too much in the atmosphere it will flip over. Again all of the action groups are explained in the craft and I recommend using the parachutes to land so that the wings stay connected to the craft. Unlike most of the other craft I believe it is a joy to fly. The RCS is not needed and should only be needed in space. Like all of the other craft the action groups are explained in the craft. Since the new areo update I know that there have been many changes to SSTO design. I am going to start trying to design a new RAPIER powered SSTO and have a few question. I have made SSTO's in the past so I do know the basics. The Precooler: Should I use it and if so what do I connect to it (the intakes or the RAPIER engine)? Intakes: Which one would be best to use: the ram intake or the shock cone intake? Also how many intakes per engine 1,2 or more? For my assent profile would I be right in assuming that you should get to 10k s quickly as possible then try and gain speed then pitch up once my speed starts to decrease and go to closed cycle mode? Thanks in advance for the help

I personally own an Xperia Z3 compact and it is a great phone and I have never been in a situation when I wished it had an IR blaster. I don't think you will be missing much in not having an IR blaster.

Babylon 5 Starfury Thunderbolt I think it is looking quite close to the ship from babylon 5 but it is horrible to fly -
I have also been hoping to do something similar but it does not seem to be possible to do it in VAB/SPH I have been able to connect two winches together but that was only when on EVA.
