  1. Anyone else have any decent tanks?
  2. I have been further developing my stock military with my first true heavy tank prototype. The JTF-Relentless is my first tank to feature a high strength turret bearing that takes several direct hits to destroy. It also features exceptionally heavy front armor capable of bouncing it's own high velocity I-beam rounds from further than 80 Meters away. It currently has a placeholder turret from the lynx main battle tank. In the future it will be armed with it's own six shooter turret. The front hull armor is nearly impenetrable. It is the only Tank I have ever encountered that has armor capable of stopping or even bouncing my own high velocity rounds.
  3. Simple but actually beautiful! A combination a lot of designers fail at.
  4. So they are just regular I-beam rockets with guidance?
  5. Alright with the recent development of everyone else tanks I had to step it up too. I built a heavier tank from the lynx chassis with heavier armor compared to the original but more importantly a 360 turning turret with 6 high penetration I-beams and one light machine gun mounted anti-tank round. Still working on developing it.
  6. Don't worry I am out. My stuff sucks in comparison to anything you guys make. I won't be back until I have anything comparable. But I am sure that day might come. In the meantime the lynx can suffice for light operations But when you ever face the lynx remember it is all about the gun and the lighter weight and not the armor. Especially from the sides. From the front it stands a chance. Still don't underestimate the lynx. The armor is not amazing but one can actually cripple one of Zekes' tank destroyers. And is half the weight. Lives to kill and be killed.
  7. Summary of the stream: And someone call an exorcist....
  8. Kerbin Liberation 2016 Prepare to welcome the new world order.
  9. Anyone got any good tanks in version 1 that are fully operable?
  10. Going to test the most updated 144 variant yet? The one you posted still has some of the turret bugs I think I got ironed out better.
  11. Yeah I keep getting the same bug. It is amazingly frustrating when trying to tweak the color values. Especially with higher part count designs.
  12. I love the leopard series tanks. I really think your turret is too long in relation to the body. The rear of the tank is also missing the classic German _7 slope.
  13. Go to bed zekes! Errr.... Maybe I should speak for myself.
  14. I love the challenge of building amazing mechanics in a 100% game.
  15. I fixed that problem. It is not incurable. It is the same bearing my Lynx tank uses and the mass of the turrets are pretty much the same. Still needs more tweaking.
  16. I fixed some of the problems that came with the last version. It does not seem to rear-up all as much now but when it does it is more violent. Silly turns super smooth though. Sorry... I found this last version still has problems. I am working them out. I can see why this was so frustrating for you now. Edit: I fixed a lot of the problems now. It still rears up but all in all is far more stable and the tank can even move with the turret detached fairly freely.
  17. Comrade zekes... Was still disappointed by the turret traverse on the panther. Therefore I took the job myself to replace the bearing with a larger yet superior system. It will probably need some revisions but I thought you could use a gift to take your tanks to the next level! The total part count was not really changed. Just slightly more because I put in more struts to try to keep it all more structurally stable inside. It still gets caught every now and then but is much smoother on average. The structural panels on the sides of the bearing are intersecting with the bearing and that is seeming to cause some glitchiness. Maybe you can find a way to redesign the top of the hull to allow for more space. Do I get an honorary zokesian membership card?
  18. No idea why that glitch happens. Really does not make any logic. But neither do a lot of things in KSP. The glitch can be solved by simply loading in crew after decoupling the turret.
