  1. Yep. But I have been designing mine to actually be usable in some practical sense like rescuing kerbals stranded in the middle of nowhere. Something with 3 seconds of fuel can't do that unfortunately Unless you cheat... I feel too hesitant to release something that isn't practical. What in the world am I saying? I still just had to make a sport version of my truck after seeing this xD
  2. Yeah. My shuttle is pretty much finished it is just I am too busy IRL to make a full forum post about it right now.
  3. Trust me same here. But they were so fuel inefficient for any sort of practicality.
  4. It doesn't look like it and I have not tested it yet... But does it also have electrical traction motors? As in SAS modules with the axels that provide electrically powered torque? I found it useful for saving fuel efficiency for such a large rover and helping climb inclines.
  5. Neat SSTO. Looks like a shuttle but functions nothing like one. Which is probably a good thing xD
  6. I think the current version should be expanded before ever considering a version 2.0 There is a great groundwork for more things to be added. More planets, more features, better performance. Etc. Development towards 1.1 is looking really good. I don't think things will stop there.
  7. We should really make videos of these. You can't appreciate engineering like this without seeing it move. There's something beautiful about it.
  8. Ironically this and the V2 rocket are the origins of the United States space program. (By hiring the german scientists who developed autonomous weapons.)
  9. I don't think posts here have to be dedicated SSTOs so here is my space shuttle. (Only an actual space-plane on orbit and landing) As far as actual space-plane SSTOs go the best one I have made was back in a far older version of KSP before cargo bay doors or Mk3 parts were added to the game. I still built my own stock rotor mechanism for stock cargo bay doors.
  10. Built a new more realistic looking space shuttle from the ground up using what I had learned from building my older "Khallenger" This new shuttle will be named "Kerlantis" after the real life Atlantis. I might not have it officially on the forum by Friday but it depends on how busy I am.
  11. I don't want to have anyone feel like they are copying me if they are making some insane mega rover. I mean someone had to have built the first space-plane in KSP but we don't accuse the thousands of them made now as copies of so and so. My "Mega trucks" are a concept but that doesn't mean others don't have the right to make their own adaptions. I think MRS has a really cool one and is original enough not to be a copy.
  12. A new and updated version of my shuttle will be released soon and will be more realistically proportioned.
  13. My new shuttle is looking well. I hope it will be finished and properly forum-ready by the end of the week. Until then you can enjoy some eye-candy. The last bits of work it needs is making the launch tower prettier. It has both a stock elevator up to the orbiter and a retractable arm for the crew to walk across to board the shuttle. After seeing the idea used by Inigma I thought it would be an essential part of the design. The rest of the shuttle both looks and functions gorgeously.
  14. Is this a boat? Is it a plane? Is it a car? I don't understand. Gosh dangit Azimech stop throwing out these ideas that are too big for me to comprehend!
  15. This looks amazingly well done. Always wondered how one would go about making a larger diameter crew module in stock KSP. Another use for fairings
  16. Mega trucks for the win! Also... It is comming. Everything I ever see in this thread amazes me.
  17. I really enjoy these videos. Keep up the amazing work! Honestly!
  18. Excellent mission and photos! 100% stock coming soon!
  19. Wow that is absolutely amazing!
  20. Known for making some of the coolest stock fighters in KSP!
  21. It's fine! It's not your fault that you are in a different timezone. This allows more last minute submissions I guess
