  1. Ok had the same issue this morning , and this is how I solved it. These are the steps and what I found out 1. Updated pathfinder from CKAN- had issue mentioned above 2. uninstalled pathfinder and did a manual install, noticed that the installation in GitHub has three folders (a buffalo folder ,a pathfinder folder and something else (000wildbletools)) inside the wildblue folder 3. Program Ran perfectly 4. But I still wanted to use ckan (sorry I like the program) so I copied the wildblue folder somewhere else and the deleted the pathfinder and buffalo installation 5. Reinstalled with Ckan- then ran into same issue, when I opened the wildblue folder I noticed that it only had a pathfinder folder included, ie the buffalo folder and the other one were missing from the install 6. I replaced the wildblue folder with the one that I had kept from the manual install- everything works and ckan is traking it as a CKAN install Horray!!! So a possibilities are a. that the pathfinder files in ckan are slightly different than the one in GitHub or b. that installing with ckan is for some reason stripping the two other folders. so there are two avenues for some people smarter than me to investigate. However if you just want to play the game and keep everything tidy with ckan this solution works

  3. No reason to have to reinvent the wheel. It is after all a well tested design
  4. Davidy12 well probably the ice Kream rover, not- this is a running joke with nils. actually I can't answer for Nils, but a lot of what he has done on kpbs lends itself for making rovers. If I was to request anything for the mod besides the aformentioned module it will be a 2 pax habitat and a 1 pax lab with extendable sides ( to better distribute the CG. And a extensible variable height airlock

  6. Nils I am in awe, excellent central hub. How does the Iva looks like?
  7. Docking the modules can be tricky since terrain and the lack of auto leveling legs, can cause the the modules to be off. Suggestions, that have worked for me. Move to another docking port, raise and lower the legs on both modules and do offsets (such as rising te left side first then the right,) also you can use kas to link the modules and give both the visual and functional appearance of docking, finally just fully exit and restart the game, on more than one occasion I have found the modules docked upon my return or suddenly being able to dock
  8. Until Nils has time to work in his Rover mod ( and my requested ice cream Rover ) I have used the amazing parts from this mod to build some awesome rovers. The amazing parts in this mod with their low center of gravity once the modules are extended allow for the construction of very stable rovers. Below you will find the picture from my longest rover trek so far. A 56 km round trip trek to reach the face on Duna from the Duna Planetary Base. Hope you like them. And Nils i would not have executed this trek on a rover that did not have kpbs parts. thanks [imgur]MVNFl[/imgur]
  9. Give me a few minutes to look though my mods, they also make excellent landing skids to keep from tipping Cargo ramp is on SXT
  10. i use a ship i call the triple lander, the difference between vacuum andd atmospheric is the addition of parachutes. In Duna the ship has enough dv to slow down and eliminate the need for heat shield.
  11. There i was (1.0.4)!!! After 100 days on Minmus and the Mun, Jeb,Bob, Bill and Valentina returning from their 10 mission. What have never failed did the parachutes were torn to shreds. Thankfully, the super 100 landing engines (which jeb has never used) ignited in the nick of time bringing the crew to a safe splashdown. After that Jeb insisted Super 100 was integrated to every rocket including his eagle lander... However jeb is sad that he can no longer find the super 100 on ckan as it is not coded as 1.0.5 compatible. jeb wonders if it will be made available soon Happy holidays!
  12. Agree quality is paramount. Nils has both a great mod and a real life. Although we are all excited about the upcoming release, I am sure we would want nils to enjoy the holiday season. Plus I am still holding out for the ice Kream rover

  16. please don't misunderstand me I know that Nils time is valuable and I am truly amazed with his work. My suggestion somewhat in jest, dealt with the fact that we are somewhat limited through ksp as a whole to a few modules such as habitat, lab, hydro phonics, command And variants thereof. so seeing something that breaks the pattern would be delightful and make the game more interesting. Also after seeing Neil's work, his attention to detail and humor on the Iva's he is one of the few modders, I would trust to successfully break this paradigm. I love the game and appreciate the hard work done by the modders who posses skill I do not. I don't disagree either with the the point made about loading times etc.
