  1. wouldnt this have helped? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/75488-Orbit-direction-indicator
  2. i agree with that. it would help make things look nicer, but until the devs add a no clip button to the vab, its just cheaters exploiting the debug menu. take volume into consideration. 2 gallons of water cannot fit into 1 gallon of water. but if you do feel free, its your game. but its just like minecraft with creative mode and undermines and invalidates any acheivement of yours i see.
  3. ikd about seeing through clouds, but a sat scan tool is needed for once we get biomes on duna/eve and beyond. also im tired of every minmus landing being midlands or slopes. let me see the biomes on a map, so i can better plan a mission lol
  4. this would also allow for cargo bays with working doors. robotics aside, you could also parachute a crate to duna with a rover inside, and open that crate along a pivot hinge and drive your rover out. i think that would look pretty sweet.
  5. last time this happened a mod came in with a link to the tumbler or something, it was up, it just wasnt on the forums yet. any mod assistance?
  6. that tasty thirdperson reference. have you ever done an eve accent? any tips?
  7. its possible. but other things dont work in unity try putting 2 fuel tanks between 2 bi-couplers. only one node will work EDIT: post partially retracted.
  8. you probly also call .20 the chair update. look at all the under the hood upgrades. ksp runs faster than ever, joints are improved, nodes work even better, orbits are much more stable... ect....look at the change log man
  9. the smaller rocket will be cheaper, thats a given mate. so once currency is added you wont(read:shouldnt) be spending your kerbal monies on huge lifters for your smaller satalites.
  10. nice research. new parts work fine for me, they got me into orbit for my first ever successful manned duna return mission yesterday night.
  11. really it should be on a part by part basis, but if you want to do it on the whole: Should the parts be changed? >No, they are fine as is >balance them to match the current parts >they are too weak and need a boost >other (comment below)
  12. lol at the divided Kommunity in the poll. squad officially cannot change anything without upseting people.
  13. i was going to mention that maybe the lines could have a color gradient instead of an arrow, so that would work just as well, and would take up as much space as it does presently.
  14. A fair rebuttal. i just think it would be convenient for the inexperienced and the experienced alike.
  15. mate. you are not following me. asteroids auto-capture on occasion. see thread http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/75608-Kerbin-has-3-moons in that OP's picture, tell me how one could instantly tell which way the asteroid is orbiting?
  16. when you look at the map view, every body/ship is on rails. also asteroids can be orbiting any-which-way if they get pulled into by a moons gravity. more information is good, and a small unobrusive marker is convenient.
  17. thats true. ive always thought that the design of the radial kethane drills would be an excellent analoge for unmanned sample taking. those probes in the links only grabbed a few pounds of rock/dust anyway
  18. He is after all, the Kommunity Manager. and if future features were leaked via those screens...well oops
  19. >screen clutter what? it would be at most, two 5 pixel lines. actually it might look like this: > it would be on all orbit rails so if you auto-capture an asteroid while you arent looking you can instanty tell which way it is going, especially for anything in a highly inclined or maybe verical orbit. how is this a bad thing?
  20. ive always been a supporter of this. plus being able to transmit suface samples from an unmanned rover would be awesome and give rovers more use.
  21. yup always turn towards 90 on kerbin. but in space the camera is all topsy turvy and you get a bit lost sometimes. plus with the updated patched conics mode it would be easy to see whats coming up when you are going to enter a new soi my problem is unless i timewarp i cannot tell if a moon is orbiting away from me or towards me.
  22. thats what i normaly end up doing, but sometimes it can be inconvenient.
  23. if they were facing eachother, wouldnt the yellow hashes be opposite?
  24. while i agree different schemes would be cool, remember that unity loads everything on start up....and there is a 4gb ram limit....see what im saying?
