  1. Its important to keep KSP sorta arcadey too guys. as I understand it, reaction wheels for example work very differently in real life.
  2. Ive always loved vall, but ive never landed on it. I think that will be my weekend mission this week.
  3. I had one mission to put a satellite around jool, and each of its 5 moons. those 6 probes= nigh infinite funds. I've stopped accepting those contracts because its not worth my time. I have too much money.
  4. Make it so please devs. I understand not wanting procedural tanks/wings whatever, but ladders are annoying to the max at times.
  5. So, there would be no problem if instead of calling it Isp, they called it fuel efficiency based on atmosphereic pressure? FEBOAP?
  6. Have you appointed a successor for the position of hypetrain conductor? Ive been listening to a few podcasts during work, one about the history of Rome, and another about the history of China, and the moment that there is a succession crisis, IT IS INSTANT BLOODY CIVIL WAR LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. So yeah, do that.
  7. Blizzy has struck again. WHEN WILL THE MADNESS CEASE?!
  8. Ive had trouble getting that to work, but that was like 6 months ago i tried it.
  9. If im not mistaken whackjobs launches take (sometimes) up to an hour. will need his confirmation on this of course.
  10. That's a very true point, I can only imagine the outcry were such an OP engine to come out. I thought the ARM parts debate was bad...
  11. Ok, I can simulate it being placed radially by sinking a cubic strut inside a fuel tank, I was admittedly not patient enough before. but even still, you cant attach much to it, and for no discernible reason. cant use RCS thrusters on it nor can you place science equipment or even batteries I just feel that this part in particular is terribly restrictive, and I would love to use it. aesthetically, its a great part. thanks for the pointer on having to use the top/bottom nodes kashua
  12. like specially designed eve atmo jet engines? now that would make things...interesting. I'd say make them 1/4 the strength of the standard jet engine. cant have it getting too easy.
  13. now that my thread title has caught your eye, let me explain. I think its stats, mass and tolerances, all that, are fine. if they aren't, I don't know, I'm not a state licensed botanist or whatever... What needs a buff is it usefulness. It needs the following changes: -we cant place it radially. WHY? -we cant place it on a small cubic. WHY? -I cant place a micronode on a micronode. WHY? Give it these features and I would love to use it. Even now I still haven't ever used it, because anytime I have an idea for it I can't place it where I want.
  14. yes its from the toolbar mod, and the toolbar mod is tucked into various other mods im not sure what ones. so you can have it and not know. this thread details it all, and inside blizzy reveals his treachery http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/88286-SPOILER-%28possibly%29-New-main-menu-screen?highlight=blizzy+toolbar
  15. would asteroids do serious damage? what is their terminal velocity at sea level? they fall obscenely slow in atmosphere I thought, cuz stock aerodynamics.
  16. I hate when im doing an interplanetary course correction, set up a nice Periapsis of 13km on duna, and once I enter its SOI my Pe changes to 200km. C'MON MAN! That's the worst.
  17. theres no need to remove it I think. make it a hair more expensive, and let it also have the toggle-able balance thrust option. just like adding the suspension option to the landing gear, that didn't break all the saved craft with landing gear. Its just a new feature for a part that is essentially the same as the other small sas module. makes it clearly superior, but offset by its cost. edit: Ive edited the OP to clearly reflect that my idea is to add this feature to the IAS
  18. it could use someway of being more different from the other 1.25m sas thing though.
  19. right and without it does that permanently take it off the table? unless they retexture everything?
  20. think that means reentry heat is off the table?
  21. Did someone say #1 raptor? reporting in. Welcome aboard good sir. Nvidia has a similar application that optimizes games, and has a recording feature as well. I don't stream, or watch streams, but that's neat stuff we can do these days.
