A short film about Jebs' Christmas while at the EVE Colony. He misses his rover dearly. Luck is on his side though because he made a very powerful friend a long time before the film is set that has the power to get a rover to EVE without anyone finding out... enjoy the film! Consider Subscribing because it helps a lot to know that people watch my videos

+rep. I'm not writing all I wrote on the youtube video again. I commented on it a few minutes ago. I just wanted you to know that I was giving you rep.

Most if not all these shots were from Nassaults videos. Nice editing and all, but there isn't even credits to Nassault for anything. Can you actually call this your own? Right now I can't really focus on the well fitted music or anything when what I'm watching is robbery. You have potential. Please add some credits. *looks at youtube page. Sees credit to Nassault* ok, nevermind. Just add some credits to the KSP page and you'll save yourself a lot of trouble. I was about to report this because filming is a pain in the butt (from my personal experience anyway) and having someone use your clips without credits is annoying for the creator.

Wait. There are star ratings on the forums? I never noticed them...

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I'll show this to my dad as soon as he gets home and I might be sitting down to watch a space movie by Christopher Nolan later on. I've got high hopes for this!

Well, am I? If you have seen it, where does it come on a scale of one to ten - one being the worst movie ever and ten being the best movie ever. I want to see it. I just need to persuade my parents to let me go to a late screening on a school night.

Project Arctic Film- Be Part Of Something Great
One-Way Films replied to Vagani's topic in KSP Fan Works
I've got no more thermal paste. I'm also using the default Intel Fan and my average temperature (with the Thermal paste) was 40-60 degrees Celsius while under load. I'd love to drop that to a cozy 15 degrees if I can. -

Before we start filming, I'm just gonna get a new CPU fan. My computer is dying from the heat. -
+rep for you. Following. This will come in handy if this works. Good luck

Here's my newest cinematic. It was literally just uploaded, so forgive me for the quality issues. It should look better in a few hours. Enjoy! *edit* Re-uploading it due to typos. One sec... -
Can you embed it? It could use some music. That's my only complaint

[1.12.x] Alcubierre Warp Drive (Stand-alone)
One-Way Films replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'd love some Warp effects like the ones in the Star Trek Reboots if you make Warp Drives similar to those in Star Trek. Also, If kerbals go on EVA, they're thrown out and left behind. Tough Love. -

Oh, I didn't see the Submission form. Here's mine Name: One-Way Gaming Job: Co-Director, recorder, Voice actor Why do you want to do this job(s): I'd love to be part of this. A Community Film is something I've thought of but never put to practice. This will show myself if I can work with a team to make a film and, if I can, I'd like to start making live action shorts. Previous Work: Like crafts, videos, etc: I've made a good few cinematics in the past in KSP. One of which is Vacuum. It's my most successful film to date. It has a massive spelling mistake though. I misspelled the title in editing. I'm currently working on a new cinematic that will launch a new era of video making for me. I'll be focusing on better stories and much better visuals. Here's a link to my channel if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq15ZM3jpoKrzEiJJJmmNVw . I think I could be a co-director. I'm too shy to be a director right now in my life. I can't give orders without feeling bad or bossy but I can give recommendations and/or ideas. I have no experience in voice acting but I'm willing to send a demo if you really want it. I hope that covers everything. I look forward to an answer from you and I'm delighted to have a chance to be a part of such a awesome project! -

I can be a recorder. My cinematics so far aren't amazing, but I can get some gorgeous shots. I'm too shy to be a director. Voice actor, co-director and recorder are my domains though. If there's space left, I'd love to be a part of this grand project. Here's a pic of a beauty shot of mine. My cinematic should be finished in a week so the moving shot will be available on my channel if you're interested. -
[1.1.2][1-1-2] May 13-2016 EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements
One-Way Films replied to rbray89's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Nevermind. I fixed it. Turns out my Astronomers Visual Pack was outdated and was behind it all. Thanks though and I've learned something new in the process; When in doubt, get the bloody output log! (wasn't supposed to rime. That's too mainstream) -

I have too not bought into the AE master race. I intend to though. But for now, I make do with basic effects aimed at someone who knows nothing about editing and combine them to make the effects of a master. -

One-Way Films replied to rbray89's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Em, I have quite a serious issue with this mod. Not only does it crash KSP, but it crashes my entire PC! my specs are quite high too! Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming motherboard. CPU: Intel Quad-core 4670k (i5). GPU: MSI Twin Frozr GTX 770 OC edition. it's a gorgeous mod. it is version 7-4. In my cinematics directory I have KW rocketry, Kerbcam, Camera Tools and the Planet shine mod paired with EVE (using astronomers' pack). Please fix asap. P.S: I'm trying it stock (as in no EVE Packs, just EVE) -

If you could do an Assault rifle of some kind, that would be awesome for my next few war cinematics! -

Oh! 60FPS?!! When did you get here? Nice one Aba. You're one hell of a guy for them beauty shots! I look forward to your next film. My new cinematic was due to be released next week but yesterday (the first of November) my editing software (adobe Premiere elements 11) broke. My video was in there. I tore off my shirt and ran in to save it before the File was destroyed. I succeeded on doing so. Now I'm left editor-less with a few WIP projects in my pockets. My replacment (adobe premiere elements 13) should arrive on the 11th of november, 10 days after the ship hit the fan. And thanks to everyone for keeping this thread alive. It's good to see more cinematics being made by the community. Well... yeah. Adobe Premiere is used by a good portion of KSP filmakers. There's the really expencive program (Premiere Pro) and there's the one I use (the Cheaper one, Premiere Elements 11/13). What's missing from Premiere Elements is tracking and more advanced effects. But you can still generate Lense-Flares, Lighting effects, bottom/top video bars (for text/dialogue), image control, etc. I found a way to make films look really nice in Premiere Elements 13. This will be demonstrated in my next cinematic (according to me ). Anyway, you can't find a reliable editing software like Sony Vegas/Premiere Pro/Premiere Elements for free. It's a sad fact. Also, as a comparison on what sort of deal you're getting with Premiere elements, here are the prices for both programs in €; Premiere pro: €1,009 Premiere Elements 13: €85 Don't worry. It's reliable. I've used Premiere elements 11 for 3 years and it broke now. Upgrades are very available for a low price. That's what I'm doing. Whatever you choose, good luck with your KSP Film Career! You could have done the text better, other than that I like it! It's a great idea and I loved the Kerbals running out of the Astronaut Complex before it was squashed by a giant Virus! I also loved the replicated virus launching from the ruins. In fact - what's that pink thing falling towards me? oh ship! *boom* I look forward to the subtitles. The camera panning around the launch pad while time goes on around it was a great idea. Some ambience with the music would be great, though. That's the only problem in my opinion. even a blurred audio effect of a rocket launching would be good at the launch scene. If you don't know where to get good realistic sounds, I recommend Nasa.com. Here's the link: http://www.nasa.gov/connect/sounds/#.VFYbzfmsUd0 Good luck with your future cinematics, my friend! May the force be with you!
