Actually, some of the guys got really stoked over the banana this morning. I don't think we'll see that made stock, but it'd be a hoot to see it pop up unannounced if that were ever to happen.

Things like feature announcements and major updates are more likely to be found as an article and/or a daily kerbal section post. The announcements subforum has (mostly) been transitioned to news that doesn't quite match an epic scope, but is still of importance. Regex, please reign in the cynicism here. When we release the full information on this, it will be linked through our Facebook, our Twitter, our Tumblr and yes, here on the forum as an article, a daily kerbal section post, an announcement section post or any combination of those sections. Of course, you'll also see it in other semi-to-unofficial areas, but it will be seen on our official channels first. If major news and nothing but major news is what you want, subscribing to either of them should be sufficient. All of the biggest info, from new and upcoming features, to contests, to sales will be announced in those channels. You don't have to be all-knowing and all seeing. The super important stuff will always be mentioned on at least one of our official channels. As for the experimental question, you may want to send a PM to Ted about that one. Sorry I can't be of more assistance there. Now, let the mod speculation carry on.

If a bit of a pat on the back can bring some positivity to light, at least for a bit, the sentiment is welcomed. As always, though, everything in moderation. It's been a bit since a thread like this popped up. If there were new "we rock" threads every day, that'd be another story. As it is, no one is harming anyone and OP isn't trying to be negative, so leave it be. I can see where you're coming from. It's the old adage of too much of a good thing. You don't want to let things go too far, lest that line be crossed between humility and pompousness. As it is, though, the type of game KSP is, leaves the opportunity for a lot of congratulating. Combine that with the overall helpfulness, intelligence and general positivity and well, there's a lot to be happy about. The community should be proud of itself for being awesome and not be afraid to show it - just don't let it go overboard. Right now, not overboard

What he means is when there is fully fleshed out info to tell, you'll hear it from our end, not from Max's personal twitter, nor something awful. This is info that's breaking and there will be a lot more to say about it in the days to come.

Don't forget that we're all apart of the "award winning" KSP community Seriously, go ask around and the rep of the KSP community precedes itself. You should all be proud and threads like this shouldn't be minded, as our community tends to be a bit of a breath of fresh air in comparison to the norm. Just remember to keep things on the up and up, all around. Putting down other places and other game communities is not how KSP community has gotten itself to the standing it holds today.
