What Planets Would You Like to See Added to KSP?
Thomas988 replied to Thomas988's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Mkay, I got Daphy to work this morning and it looks great! I moved on to Potatus and the terrain just won't look oblate enough. Also, should I make a separate thread for this? I'm not 100% sure if I'm devoted to this project yet, nor do I know if there is enough content so far for a thread. -
Yeah, definitely we should be thankful. But I just want it to warm up so I can go biking!

Wisconsin got about one week of nice weather, which was amazing. There was wind, but it wasn't cold! Then just a couple days ago we got a few more inches of snow. That all has melted by now, but it is still really flipping freezing.

That is so cool! Nice work.

Woohoo! Another great review, OWK! "Some graphics enhancements you should all enjoy" has me really excited. KSP isn't exactly the prettiest of all games. -

Okay, got the configs for GP2 made, but they won't work. Going to trial and error a little more... I got it! I just forgot one measly letter in the Textures folder. How do you guys like it? How should I change it, if I have to? -

You know what? You really are an awesome member of our community, so it's great to learn more about you! We're actually sort of similar...ish. I too am also really shy and love YouTube, as well as do really good in school. Smart kids FTW! However, I play the trumpet, hate TV, cannot draw for the life of me, and, obviously, live in the US. But hey, variety is the spice of life, is it not? -

Wow. You guys got amazing ideas! Right now I am messing around with GP2. I got myself a nice 8K resolution texture form Space Engine and KT 0.1.3 installed, so I am about to start making the configs. -

Hmmm, certainly interesting and certainly possible! Thanks for feedback! -
Okay guys, I confess. I am a huge fan of the Five Nights at Freddy's series. Because of this, I eventually stumbled upon The Living Tombstone and his music. This guy has made a song for the first two games and both of them are absolutely fantastic, in my opinion. Now I'm just waiting for the third song!

Lately the planet-making community got a lot more exciting when the long-awaited 0.13 version of KopernicusTech was finally released. I've been craving to make a new planet pack, too, but I am at an absolute blank as to what the community would want in a planet pack. So, what planets do you all what to see in KSP that stock doesn't have already?

They're unrealistic, yes, but what we have now is perfectly fine! Honestly, a red laythe with green oceans sounds like the worst color palette imaginable, no offense. Plus, I think Tylo provides enough challenge to land on. As others have pointed out, it is important KSP is a game, not a simulator.

Failing a mission is impossible when you have revert! But when missions go horribly wrong? That's usually one out of five major missions.

Cube mapping for planets.

That's actually a really good idea. A game called Seed of Andromeda does this, and the terrain is very good. Currently there are some strange terrain visuals at times, but that will be fixed in the next update I hear. -

I second this. I've been here for a year and a half now and already have four bars.
