[WIP] Renaissance Compilation (artworks remake)
Thomas988 replied to Proot's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I just have to say this again: amazing work! Doing all this can't be easy, and I can't say how much I respect your devotion to this project. Once this gets released, you can expect a download form me! -
There goes my hopes for a Gilly space elevator, and, well, basically everything else.

These are amazing!

[WIP] Renaissance Compilation (artworks remake)
Thomas988 replied to Proot's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I'd be happy to test. I have a few mods installed, but I can uninstall them. -
I don't know what I'll do for it, but I have a two ideas for HOCgaming's Space Tourism series. 1. With the claw, Harv can refuel SSTOs on Laythe without having to use that clunky docking port pad. 2. Anyone remember that broken SSTO on Laythe that ran out of electricity? If I understand, ElectricCharge may be transferrable, making the SSTO usable again. Booyah! But for me, I don't really know what I'll do. Maybe I can finally start making bases with a some-what useful purpose.

Now THAT is one of the coolest things I have ever seen in KSP.

Woohoo! Nice work! -
NerdCubed played it, but I wasn't very interested at first. Then I saw HOCgaming's "Artificial Gravity" series. That's when I realised how awesome KSP was, so I bought it a few days later.

Awesome! -
How many Kerbals do you have in need of rescuing?
Thomas988 replied to Fenris's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Right now, zero. However I have done two rescues. One went perfectly, the other...well...not so great. -
Smaller center of mass marker

[WIP] Renaissance Compilation (artworks remake)

MY GOSH THAT LOOKS AMAZING!!! Seriously, I can't until this comes out some day. By the way, when will this come out? I'm not expecting a specific date, but could its be days, weeks, months until release? -
For huge things that need to get into orbit, I use a huge seven-mainsail-and-jumbo-fuel-tank design. It operates like a huge asparagus design rocket. But there are several common mistakes I make with this launcher that make me want to scream. 1. Seven mainsails? You're darn right I need struts. But, for some reason, many a time I have forgotten to put any sort of struts on. Hello, explosions. 2. At first I think it's smooth sailing and that I'll have plenty of Dv to get into orbit. Suddenly I realize there are fuel lines to redirect the fuel! Back to the VAB... 3. When ejecting one of the radial tanks, it doesn't fly far from the spacecraft. So here's a pro tip: never tilt a rocket while a radially-ejected payload is descending along the side of your craft. Before you know it...BAM! Asymmetrical thrust for you. I love this launcher to death, but dang, it's a beast!

+1 respect for making female Kerbals that actually look good!

PLANET { name = EveOcean minDistance =1 minSubdivision = 1 maxSubdivision = 6 } PLANET { name = KerbinOcean minDistance = 2 minSubdivision = 1 maxSubdivision = 3 } PLANET { name = LaytheOcean minDistance =1 minSubdivision = 1 maxSubdivision = 7 } The oceans of KSP make my computer want to explode.

I couldn't agree with that any more. A realistic-looking Kerbin would be awesome, but that would be so difficult.

Basically just what the title says: to option to change the field of view. Why would anyone benefit from this? I think it would be a cool feature to mess around with to make the universe seem much bigger and more realistic. Also, it'd be a nice tool for those who want to make cinematics look cool.
