You . Are . Awesome!

That is actually a bug with the new RealFuels v6+, I know what is causing it and have let NathanKell and the gang know, up to them to fix it...Only way around it, is to delete all tanks, and refill, but you will be missing 99% of your electric charge if you fill everything else to where they should be. It's a problem of RealFuels not using the already defined values of tank properties. The big one is utilization of ElectricCharge, which pre-defined at 100, however it's not properly being read and defaults to 1...making a tank of 4032kW of juice be equal to 4032L instead of 40.32L, since the overall volume of the CM is considerably less, it screws everything up. Be patient, they'll get it working right. Only way to enjoy KSP at the moment is to revert back to RF 5.3, unsure how well PP will work with that though, might have to go back to StretchySRB/Tanks.

All works for me.

Both OLDD and FASA are basically the same models. That said, make sure you have the latest versions of both OLDD and/or FASA as well as my RSS_***.cfg files. I can't replicate your issue, and you are the first to mention it. Yes, the node is inside the capsule, that's the way it is designed, but you can still attach it, just move the heatshield up and down a bit, it'll attach to the correct node. It's actually easier now than before w/o my files IMO.

parts [1.10.x] SDHI Service Module System (V4.0.4 / 11 October 2020)
RedAV8R replied to sumghai's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I have an RSS configuration using the Taurus pod along with Blackheart's Aerojet Kerbodyne and SDHI. However they bump up the size to 16.5' (~5m) to match the real Orion spacecraft. You can find that HERE. -
No. RSS_Resources is NOT required now. In fact it needs to be removed from the RedAV8R folder of RO or not good things happen.
-
Woopert: Well RSS_Resources is still needed until Real Fuels is updated, NathanKell has it, just hasn't put the release up. Once that is done, all is well. Coldblade2000: TAC is required, eventually when ASMI's ELCSS 2.0 comes out we'll make the switch over to it, but part of the experience of RSS/RO is managing life support, it's not hard. May not make people happy, but that is the way it's going to be. If one chooses not to use it, they will at least have to create the resources so that the game doesn't hang, the game will still be playable, there just won't be any consumption. Never have posted a firm ETA on anything...I will say I am currently working on LazTek right now, and KerbX will follow. I've gotta go back and hit FASA again because of a new release, shouldn't take much to update it. After that I'll probably start on Lionhead stuff, unless there are any other requests.

Well guess what...it's not that big. That is your computer, or some other glitch.

IT'S UP! FASA Update, OLDD update, and a bonus new pack, Lovad's World Space. Centaur, RL10, Nova parts, and HIIA/B! All available in the OP. Big change, KM_Gimbal now supported and enabled for all engines (I think, let me know if I missed one, or if I missed the inversion of axis). Update to KM_Gimbal and MJ coming soon so that they play nice together. TAC Life Support is now the 'official' life support mod of RedAV8R RSS files (and coming soon to RO) until ELCSS 2.0 by asmi comes online.
-
Pappystein, you are off base, that had you read more before it you will recognize that he was specifically talking about the C-8, not Nova as a whole, or some 'official' Nova.

[0.25] Lionhead Aerospace Inc. - Icarus v0.4 updated
RedAV8R replied to Yogui87's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Lovad released the HIIA/B set in his pack. Besides the engines being incorporated with the fuel tank, it's not a bad model. The HIIA/B is also included in my Lovad RSS release. -
[0.23.5] Realism Overhaul: ROv5.2 + Modlist for RSS 6/30/14
RedAV8R replied to NathanKell's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Did you delete everything in the RedAV8R folder of RO and get the new files on my page HERE? Well, while you SHOULDN'T have problems without TAC LS and EngineIgnitor they ARE on the dependency list, if you don't use them you are on your own. I don't see RF, or AJE on that list you have either. -
[0.23.5] Realism Overhaul: ROv5.2 + Modlist for RSS 6/30/14
RedAV8R replied to NathanKell's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Well...tell you what...Start fresh. Get a copy of KSP, then install the latest RSS, RO, RF, StretchySRB, DRE, FAR, RealChutes, EngineIgnitor, ModuleRCSFX, AJE, dtobi's KM_Gimbal, TAC LifeSupport, and HoneyFox's ETC. Now delete everything in the RedAV8R folder of RO, and download all the latest revisions of the packs available on my thread. Install FASA, and then make sure you grab EITHER SFJackBauer RealEngine OR RftS engine pack. Try that first. Then add on AIES, KW, and NP. -
[0.23.5] Realism Overhaul: ROv5.2 + Modlist for RSS 6/30/14
RedAV8R replied to NathanKell's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
mmmm...looking at it... You've got two ModuleManager***.dll, get rid of the 1.5.7. I'd grab the latest ModuleRCSFX too...HERE. -
Yep this is it. Nathan and I are cooperating with the FASA and other RO releases and the compatibility with MJ has prevented complete integration of KM_Gimbal with our work.
-
Good to hear from you. Have you seen and/or implemented NathanKell's requests? He's got some good ones in there, and would help out with several things and improve compatibility with others.

[0.23.5] Realism Overhaul: ROv5.2 + Modlist for RSS 6/30/14
RedAV8R replied to NathanKell's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Frisch: Everybody feels your pain to a certain extent. On my thread I may take that suggestion and post the current version of each dependency for RSS/RO... After working on RO configurations for RSS for a while now I completely agree, stock KSP is not unplayable, but doesn't have the immersion that RSS and RO does. Like I mentioned before I believe a lot of people, sometimes myself included forget that KSP isn't 'done' yet, so if KSP isn't, how can modifications be 'done' either, that said, everything to this point is freely available. Perhaps when things are final, people like NathanKell can have one download for all of their mods, or even better have the 'reality' pack which includes everything. That is still all way down the road. -
You will not get any roll ability via RCS unless you or Laz changes to use the 3rd party ModuleRCSFX. That said, the RCS transforms are best guess, they may be a little off, only some great testing will solve it. Surely the real pod won't have that issue, but at this point it's anyone's guess. Give it some time and I'll have my RSS/RO configuration available that sizes it to real life as well as system changes including ModuleRCSFX.
