  1. This has been reported on the KSPIE thread as well, it seems there is some kind of compatibility issue currently between KSPIE and Kopernicus.
  2. every time I've seen this, it's been a problem with ModularFlightIntegrator either not installed at all, or needing to be reinstalled.
  3. so I could potentially get FAR working by firing it up in visual studio, editing the include paths in the project file, and building a new DLL... keeping MFI from 1.2.2 the same? I may do so.
  4. and yeah I have them both installed, for 1.3, through CKAN. My game still crashes on load, but that's because several of my other mods that contain plugins have not yet been updated. I can't really play without them though.. once you've tasted FAR, the normal air in KSP is like .. flying through a cloud of zebras. something like that.
  5. I tried using the current version in 1.3 - crashes on load, will not start at all. It at the very least needs to be recompiled for 1.3 (as well as modular flight integrator). Not sure if anything else needs updating. Have seen some mods having font trouble in 1.3, (mods that were built for 1.2.x) so, that may or may not need to be addressed in FAR. I haven't attempted a recompile myself.
  6. so.. the 1.3 compatible version is still a pre-release? Or was that marked in error on github and the 1.3.0 is actually official?
  7. firespitter is updated on CKAN and certified for 1.3 at this time.
  8. will do. I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of changing deployedDrag to a much higher value, will verify when possible.
  9. If you start over, you need to delete the old CKAN folder as well, since CKAN keeps track of what it's installed... basically to do a KSP reset: 1. delete CKAN GameData Ships (from your KSP install dir) 2. ensure ckan.exe is in the KSP install dir 3. have steam verify local files to restore GameData and Ships 4. run CKAN 5. install mods
  10. Very pretty Only thing I'd suggest is to upgrade it using KSPIE propulsion tech
  11. so.. raster prop monitor updated to 1.3 a couple days ago, yet CKAN still shows 1.2.2 as the max supported version... moarDV says to ask here if there are CKAN issues, so... I'm asking here... is there a problem with this mod or its metadata?
  12. Ckan has all the iva mods... requires rpm of course. Some mods like opt include their own ivas, which also require rpm.
  13. now if only FAR would update for 1.3, I could fix up that MM patch lol... KSP 1.3 completely crashes on load with the 1.2.2 FAR installed
  14. So in addition to the 1.3 update.. I was in the midst of testing some drag changes in the FAR MM patch for this.. I think the deployedDrag needs to be a LOT higher for FAR than it does for stock due to air density differences.. my kerbals are hitting the ground at 15+ m/s with FAR and dying, unless they're landing on water or are lucky ... when it updates to 1.3 I'll play around with the MM patch a bit more. At present it seems KSP will explicitly crash if you try to load modules that aren't compiled against 1.3.
  15. the ckan issues with USI mods appear to be fixed, at least for me.
  16. CKAN issues in 1.3 seem to be solved as of now... thanks! also I have a question.. if my base has a logistics consumer module, and, let's say I want to drop some Supplies to it since it's getting low.. is it sufficient to just drop a big Kontainer of Supplies within 150m or does it have to have a logistics module and a kerbal attached for it to participate in logistics in the way I'm thinking (or be attached to the main base via KAS)...?
  17. I am assuming that "Kerbstein Drive" ~= "Epstein Drive" from 'The Expanse' series by James S.A. Corey? Glad to see I'm not the only fan of that series here And if nobody's thanked you, @FreeThinker, for getting this mod 1.3 compatible on almost day 1, and before almost any other major mod, then let me be the first. If I'm not the first, then let me be the Nth.
  18. anyone else having weird CKAN dependency issues with this mod? I try to install USI-LS or MKS and it says USI Tools not found, but.. USI tools IS found.. I try to install USI tools, then installing something else says that USI Tools conflicts with configurable containers.. but all of this is updated to 1.3 and CKAN knows it, and I'm not really sure what's going on here; MKS/other USI modules are the only ones having problems, which is why I'm asking here instead of the CKAN forum...
  19. Firespitter has updated... but I think you need either intwerstellar fuel switch or modular fuel tanks, or both, to do what you want
  20. fair enough; this saves me some time trying out various branches/etc will wait for a 1.3 release or a 1.3 dev build.
  21. I can't get KSP to even start with any module not specifically compiled for 1.3 loaded in - FAR included. I have a "working" game but as soon as I put in FAR (or any other non-1.3-specifically built module), the entire game crashes on load at ModuleManager:FINAL I'll try the latest dev build when I get back from the store.
  22. CKAN is ok now for firespitter, but it does NOT like the USI modules in general.. MKS says it can't find USI core, but it's right there, and trying to install any of those throws an exception and crashes CKAN - this is on a completely refreshed gamedata/ckan with nothing else installed and everything up to date. Firespitter seems ok though.
  23. I got a tweakscale update from CKAN today. Will try launching again. UPDATE: No, tweakscale updating did not fix it. My logs show errors in ModuleManager:FINAL coming from the exact list of mods I have which require FireSpitter, so I'm still thinking it's the FireSpitter plugin that's to blame.
  24. can we put hydrogen into the antimatter tank as well, so we can have equal amounts of both on board?
  25. I think it's firespitter at this point... right before mine crashes it complains about a few mods throwing exceptions in modulemanager, and those are all the mods that have firespitter dependencies.
