  1. umm i am new to texture replacer stuff, is this all about shadows from sun? and would it work on 1.2?

  3. kk, i was thinking the same way, can be a conflict with something like quick start ? (jumps right to last save without the main menu screen) yup they came up, I noticed something, there is a minimal gap between the loading of main menu screen and when clouds jumps in on top of earth, can it be that bypassing this stage avoids loading of plugins?
  4. @Galileo Sir I removed all the previous folders and extracted the recent version in 1.2, no more clouds nor the city lights at all !!!! the alt+0 says something about no config being there at all !!!
  5. well in case of spacedock, when you register and set your email, each time a mod gets updated, it will send you an email about the update, but in case of curse, i am not sure how it will notify you but there is an option there when you make a mod favorite it will notify you when a file change happens, in both cases you just follow.favorite the mods you want but few of the developers only use git hub, in those cases just bookmark the forum page and check those few weekly, trust me, the process is fast but well, you need to manually install the mods and that is not that hard
  6. well i sent a pm to the current maintainer of part tools referring him to your previous post about the problem, who knows maybe we get a new update on that too
  7. sigh, this means lots of job needs to be done for covering that shininess for more than few parts, well, i hope someone come to rescue us making a new plugin or someone from texture replacer group pick this up and help you, also, regarding what we spoke in pm, if a plugin can put this on every part's mesh, i think there can be a work around for the flag mesh and it's transparency, a way to handle it could be the texture size, looking at it, a small texture size really won't need any shininess i think

  9. @taniwha Hi sir I'm really new to blender but i'm an old user of MAYA, I know for the fact that you don't have time nor the knowledge to convert your import/export for maya but, that is ok, I was going to use blender to load some parts and export them to fbx, naturally tried something from ksp (copula) well, the mesh loads ok, but when you look at shaded mode, the textures are not being applied, am i missing something here?

  11. Well, I'm not that familiar with ksp's API but i looked into your repository, did you try to recompile for 1.2? I just scrubbed through your code but didn't see any particular name space or code that should have been broken in 1.2 although, getting a compile is one thing, but testing it in 1.2 is another thing
  12. sir i know that this is not looked upon nicely, but considering that i want to start my own mod, is there a chance that you upload this little (/big) mod for 1.2 so that i can start on my own mod? thanks
  13. @Malah is there anything wrong with your pre 1.2 builds in OP? i tried many of them for official 1.2 and none of them show up (quick exit, quick mute, and quick IVA)

  15. why don't you pm or ask rover dude? he is both a dev at ksp itself and developer of USI LS so he maybe able to help you?
