Duna Regatta: First Interplanetary Journey for DeltaG
Garibaldi2257 replied to jedensuscg's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
if you've got recyclers from USI, use fertilizer instead of just supplies, MUCH less weight. you also probably don't need 2K days worth, but its not a terrible idea. -
The Saga of Emiko Station - Complete

he usually posts on the weekends. it takes a lot of time for him to set up the screen shots and write the story. -
Yeah, Kerbal Construction Time, sorry. I love the mod, but its not for everyone. another tip, if you leave from orbit of a moon of Sonnah for an interplanetary trip, you tend to need a LOT less dV... like 1100-1200 vs 2500+. There's another easy dV trick for the moons of Sonnah, if you want that I'd be happy to give it to you. it worked in the last version, and I'm sure it works pretty well for the new version, with maybe a tiny bit of tweaking. And I like your calendar ideas, I haven't gone that deep into time measurement, but my gut tells me your estimate of Sonnah's orbital period is about right.

[1.3] [Kopernicus] New Horizons v2.0.1 [2JUN17] - It's Back!
Garibaldi2257 replied to KillAshley's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
NH works just fine in 1.1.3. apart from basic engine bugs in KSP itself and the Mun SOI bug. -
yes, Sonnah is placed at the 100% point. but I think that @KillAshley rewrote the solar power curve, I'm not sure. I know that anything inside of Sonnah's orbit needs very few solar panels to get full power, and if you go too far in you need massive amounts of radiators. It gets even more interesting when combined with @magico13's KCT. timing for launch windows to other moons is...... interesting to say the least. I haven't been able to go back to the stock system after using NH.

it's probably not NH, it's probably Kopernicus that needs updated. should be done in the next couple of days, those guys are really good about that. -

I love it so far KA. combining it with KASE makes it all fit together so nicely. -
meh, KRnD is more useful.

No worries man, feel better. I'm sure you've already thought of this, but epsom salts in a hot bath can relax muscles. -

"Mods: A flowchart" or "Why you don't update"
Garibaldi2257 replied to RocketSquid's topic in KSP Fan Works
oh, I know. I bought the game through steam first, then bought it from the store to have two copies, and to throw another $40 squads way. I've put something on the order of 3200 hours into the game, paying a total of 61 bucks for that level of entertainment is fine for me. -

mmm, 1.0.5. still got that floating around too, bought another copy of KSP from the store just to keep it. -

Take as long as you need KA, it'll give squad time to iron out more bugs. -

totally understandable. rock those SATs. -
the documentation is in the process of being updated. its a slow process right now because of how much roverdude is working on the 1.1 update for squad.

@Vegetal you'll probably have to adjust the config files on the 2.5 and 3.75 tanks to read fertilizer instead of supplies and mulch, like I did, but they're a good addition until 1.1 is fully released and we get to play with the ones Roverdude included in the latest release of the mod.

kinda hard to read, but I managed to get through it, maybe include the plain text as a spoiler? -

I think its fine. -
Woot! you're back, this is most definitely one of my favorite mods.
-
its currently working perfectly for me. I'm actually learning how to code specifically to keep this mod up to date in case -MM- does not come back.
-
You know what, you're both absolutely right. I apologize Pthigrivi. Thank you for setting me straight goldenpsp.
