I already tried this option in the past http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/70693-WIP-Renaissance-Compilation-%28artworks-remake%29?p=1002657&viewfull=1#post1002657 but I'm afraid this option has the same problem as a flat ring: still looks pretty rare from some perspectives. Anyways, good work!
  2. Hi, (my apologies if this has been asked before) I use KittopiaTech to create rings in Jool and some other effects for the stock game. So, once discontinued KittopiaTech, may I use this to do the same or this is dependant on the updates of KittopiaTech too? can be the settings used directly here or need I some type of re-making? Thanks!
  3. Ha,ha, many thanks! Right now I'm working on oceans, sunsets and sunrises too. I got the oceans reflecting a much better and realistic light, with beauty oranges precisely! I hope that Rbray89 comes back soon to update to all this new features. Btw I'm completely available to be hired as 2D/Environmental artist!
  4. KSP is not dying at all. In fact is so full of possibilities that makes me scared. But, of course, the success of the "product life" depends on SQUAD... I would have liked a small graphic boost before the final release, but the real challenge for SQUAD is to continue expanding, completing and perfecting the Kerbin system. Maybe even grow to new systems, far beyond Kerbol. Because this game actually never ends, only (after literally years of play) suffers the lack of new targets. New adventures. So no, KSP is not dying at all. Hundreds of features can be added yet. If SQUAD knows how to surround himself with the right people, they can turn this game into an historic milestone, even far beyond what it already is. A goose that lays golden eggs. But above all a game fun as hell for all of us. An experience shared by several generations. Not many games, what the hell, not even many activities in our lives that can achieve it.
  5. I keep working, right now focused on revamps. Finally I've decided to do it freely, for all those who want better looking parts but not a replacement. I have most of the wheels redone, the docking ports (all), the mk1 cockpit, and some small pieces. I just finished the Mainsail engine.. and I like it, so I now I gonna do most of the engines. All has been done to fit better with stock, but this time I've followed more the style of Space Plane Plus, instead the old Squad styles.
  6. Was "Project V" confirmed as female kerbals? If not, with Rbray89 away for so "long" time, I'm starting to suspect that "Project V" is for "visuals" and maybe is involving him. Anyways, I miss him, hope he is well.

  8. Thanks but is not necessary, It's in my default Steam install, I'm sure. ...Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Kerbal Space Program The prune says "the system can't find the specified file" and closes the window by itself.

A few of notes on the new version (I don't use this from a time ago): - The prune seems to not work on steam installs. - I like much more the style of the old docking ports, specially for the squared lights (and because I don't get why now the doors have a handle crossing between them, lol, how works that?) - Where is your gorgeous copula?
  13. I'm doubting about to keep doing stock part revamps. I don't like most of Ven's pods, but I'm in love with his engines and cupola... And despite his mod is CC-BY and can be adopted for KSPRC I wish to, at least, wait to see how Ven finish his closest plans. I the other hand I really like my new retexture for the Mk1-2... What do you think about this topic? I wish to do a new poll, but I don't known even how to delete the old one... Anybody knows how to do it?
  14. I have problems with my internet line (waiting for monday...). Excuse me. I've done the revamp of most of the kerbal heads (including NPC). I was gonna launch my "Valentina Tereshkova head" (done from time ago but waiting a good moment to implement in the pack) but I suspect that "project V" is probably this: female kerbals. So now I'm quite undecided about this subject... I'm gonna start (and post in the main page) the Google Doc for LAIKA Sir ASAP. Oh and finally got this working on EVE overhaul: 100% seamless evolving clouds. (may seem easy, but actually is quite hard to get this effect in the new EVE)

  16. I'm redoing or reworking almost all textures to improve it and to fit better with stock. That include the parts. The next step should be the engines, but I feel quite depressed about it, lol, because I love the engines from Ven's mod... and I don't use them only because I don't like how they install. For now I want to revamp the inline and the normal cockpit, the landing gear and the wheels.
  17. Ok, there is a thing that I wish to do in KSPRC from time ago... science reports and contracts related to the KSPRC contents. But I'm afraid that, despite my english lexicon is quite good, my grammar is not so good as to do it as well done as I want. A.K.A. "I daren't to do it myself". So maybe it's a good point to start with "Laika SIR Common Enterprises": My first idea is to do a public document to build them, in the style of "Crowd Sourced Science" mod. But we should care two points: 1 - It's probably "easy" to make with MM, but we should think on how implement new features (or how to use the actual system for). As dumb example: scientific tests related to clouds. 2 - Don't do spoilers. If you want to add something, you will know details about the new release... but, for sure, it will be much more fun and surprising if you find it playing.

  21. Rbray just have a lot of work irl-atm, I hope he'll be back soon. The best of this version: at the moment the memory footprint is much more small than the actual version... load more quick, looks better and runs as well as now. I'm converting manually (for the best) all the textures to dds. Most of bodies will be fully revamped, to fit the stock look much better, EVE have a new and promising system for the details (not finished yet, anyway). Example: I'm running my test install, with many other mods too, just with the "texture compression" from Textur Replacer and the DDS loader (not using ATM)... and my game remains at 1.9 or 2 GB.

The realtime visor reflections is an amazing feature by Shaw for his mod Texture Replacer... probably done just to avoid having to hear my (many) begs about it. lol Seriously: Shaw, Rbray89, NathanKell, Bac9, Sarbian, PizzaOverHead... I lost the count, there is a lot of people over here incredibly skilled and generous with his efforts and his time. They deserve you admiration and full support, I'm just a unemployed guy with a lot of free time. But many, many thanks to all. I love this game (many thanks Squad! probably one of my best gaming adquisition ever!), I enjoy a lot this community and I try to do my best. Hope you can enjoy this soon. PS: We miss you Rbray!
  23. Mine is quite self-made (using references, of course), but I like much more your results. More accurate for RSS, btw, as must be. Congrats Pingopete, you are doing a great, great work!
